Release date TBA, but I'd guess Q1/Q2 2011.

TGS is in just 1 day so I'm excited to see, if there will even be any, footage of the remastered versions.
Here's some details from Kotaku:
The latest issue of Japanese games mag Famitsu confirms what we've been expecting for a long, long time: Team ICO's classic PlayStation 2 adventures Ico and Shadow of the Colossus are getting an HD makeover for the PlayStation 3.

Hardly a surprise. Team ICO and Sony have been talking about the possibility of a Team ICO collection for the better part of a year. Retailers have already started taking orders for a PS3 compilation. But Sony's making it official via Famitsu.
Unfortunately, the mag is light on details. Release date is still "undecided" and exactly how the HD re-release will be distributed is unclear. (Famitsu has two separate listings for each game, as opposed to the bundled release hinted at by retailers.)
We expect to hear more about the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus—and Team ICO's third game, The Last Guardian—later this week at the Tokyo Game Show.

Sony really should do this with more of its classic PS2 games. There were a lot of them. I'm still holding out hope for a Kingdom Hearts Final Mix Collection, with the Final Mix versions of KH1, KH2 and KH re:Chain of Memories all remastered and with Trophy support. I know the KH games aren't first-party, but it would make the wait for KH3 a lot less awful(Birth By Sleep is a positive, but I want MOAR).
What other games can you guys think of for a bundled re-release?

I'm sorta interested in this. I only played SOTC for a while before I got bored of it because it has next to no storyline. I'm told it does, though, and I just need to give it more time. Plus I've yet to see Ico for a reasonable price, so...

From the Team Ico Live Blog via Kotaku:
"The U.S. and European market will get a two-in-one release. One disc."
"The European Ico, which features a different ending, will be the universal release."
"Spring 2011 for the collection."
"There will be PlayStation Trophy support."
"Everything appears to be running smoothly, solid at 30 frames per second, give or take a frame now and then."
"On top of uprezzing the two titles for PS3, they will also be playable in stereoscopic 3D."
"As far as the Ico box art, he has some concerns about that and will be hopefully addressing that problem."
"Also, Ico will be re-framed for high-definition resolution, Ueda said in response to a question."
So happy right now.Last edited by Jill's Boob; 09-16-2010, 02:43 AM.

I can't wait to play SoTC again either...
I've been wanting to play SotC for awhile so this will be a definite buy for me.

Never played ICO so I'm interested in it...I played a lot of SotC and it's a really interesting game, but I never finished it. It's one of the games that's brought up whenever the debate rages about whether or not video games are an artform. As a game, though, I felt it to be a little lacking: point your sword, ride your horse, fight a boss, rinse and repeat around 10 or 12 times.
