Ha, i couldn't care less if you were "picking on me", and that's certainly not what i'm getting at (though on reflection, it certainly wasn't only me divulging in some light hearted taking of the piss). Was more i thought it a little odd, i thought moderators would want to stick together.

Moderators are weird creatures. They tend to operate as individuals, just like everyone else (but there's totally a hive mind-ish thing going on when it comes to certain things).

Anyway, I'm not entirely sure what the whole Trent thing is about (gonna play catch up now, I suppose). But if Darkmoon disapproves, it's usually not something good. So, yeah, let's talk about BC:R2 in the BC:R2 thread, Hydrophobia in here and slightly less of the Trent stuff everywhere.

On something remotely resembling the topic, how many endings are there to the game? I got what I suspect is the most awful of them,

I found the police chief again in chapter 3. Then I got washed away by the water.

Any ideas as to what I did wrong for my next playthrough?

Same ending as I got and everyone else, I presume. Hydrophobia is supposed to get 2 sequels. Doesn't change the fact that the ending is a tad bit sudden... The update patch/relaunch of the game was totally part of the engine update for the second part. Which is coming somewhere down the line. If you try out the challenge rooms, you'll see how the neato jedi tricks in the game works. Stuff that you'll apparently gain in the storymode of part 2 or 3.

So...that's the real ending? I suddenly feel like I've been punched in the balls, once for every Micrsoft Point I spent. I don't mind ending on a cliffhanger to build to a sequal (sometimes) but, seriously, that wasn't an ending. It was just a cut scene they forgot to finish!

Tried the demo, seemed a bit cack. Also got a sickly feeling while playing, something about the visuals I don't like on a deep level.

Curiously enough, the Australian ratings board entry lists Microsoft as publisher for Prophecy, which I guess bodes well for the 360 version too.

So I finished the game today. I feel the same way. WTF was that? Water splash, boom, you finished the game. If I had to pay full price for this game I would feel like I was ripped off. But @400 MSP can't really complain, I guess.
