They've just updated their site FINALLY after years of the new redesign message on there.

Since they've been involved on CGI films such as Shrek for the past few years, it's good to hear that they're finally back on track with their games and it's just been announced that they're going to redo Stranger's Wrath and they're hoping to release it on the PlayStation 3 in April 2011!

They're also still working on the Oddbox (porting all to the PC), but as for the other games (aside from Hand of Odd which hasn't been discussed for a while now), they are still continuing work on a new game for the series!


They've also got a Twitter account for Abe who has been sadly sent back to Rupture Farms by the Elders and is disgruntled as ever by Molluck the Glukkon.

As I grew up playing Abe constantly, I still have the promotional Wanted poster floating around - this is fucking AWESOME NEWS.

Stranger's Wrath might be alright when they're finished remaking it.

But I'm more or less excited to hear that they are actually working on them and that the website finally got it's overhaul.

I remember playing Abe's oddyseey as a little kid. I thought it was a cute game with a great storyline. I can't wait to see where they go with this one.

Yeah, well going back and playing it you can see a great deal of planning and depth with them being to represent behavior in humans and the like if I'm remembering correctly.

It looks like it'll be interesting since they're remaking it and they're working on a new one. They haven't confirmed if it's Hand of Odd or not.

Wow, how ironic. I just recently started playing Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and Exodus on the PC again recently. Though I really wish we could just get another 2.5D Oddworld like the classics again, I just didn't like Munch's Oddysee and I didn't even bother playing Stranger's Wrath seeing how horrible the other 3D one was..

I wish they would just begin development for SligStorm. SligStorm was supposed to be an Oddworld game similar to the first two where you play as an Albino Rogue Slig going against the Glukkons. Too bad the idea was scrapped.

Yeah, I wish they'd release some information as to what the other Oddworld title they're working on - a few people have asked if it was SligStorm, Hand of Odd or if it was going to be a completely new title and if it was going to be done in the old style or 3D again.

But sadly they aren't really releasing much information outside of the Stranger's Wrath remake.

I really only liked the look of being able to see the areas properly, but they didn't look as good let alone as funny as the first two with things like Magog on the March always had me laughing my ass off.

I just thought it sucked how Microsoft made them keep Munch and Stranger as X-Box exclusives, but then it did also suck since they've been constantly working on CGI films and haven't been able to properly work on the Oddworld games and we've been due one for a very long time.

I just hope the new one they're keeping up their sleeves is either 2.5D OR they end up doing something somewhat similar to the mechanics in Paper Mario as an optional thing (not to switch in-game I mean).
