  • Old School Games

    So yeah, as the title suggests, post your favourite old school games, Or you can even post the games that frustrated you so much, you'll never forget them! Can be for any system, from the Odyssey to the PS1/2.

    I've been reliving a lot of memories of the good ol' Sega Master System
    Favourite games were Sonic The Hedgehog (very similar to the Game Gear version), Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Enduro Racer etc.

    So share your fondest or darkest memories of the golden age of gaming!

    The original Clock Tower (before it was ported to PS1 in Japan), the original Final Fantasies, not forgetting the old Oddworld games on the PS1. Those things were awesome fun!

    Of course there's too many older ones for me to list to be honest. ;

      Ah, I remember Oddworld lol. That game was so strange to me when I was 10, playing as an alien who can fart on command 0_0.

      One of my all-time favourite game series would have to be Broken Sword. PC versions are best, seeing as the first 2 titles were point and click. Wonderful storyline, great characters, and all round an excellent game. If you haven't heard of it, check it out.

        This made me an FPS addict. What a game.

              Curious thing is that Doom, Quake and Wolf3D are from the same company (ID). They are the elder gods of FPS.
              Good times indeed, the Hitler boss was just too funny to be taken seriously.

                  Yep, ID ruled the world back then (at least the violent gaming part of it). Mecha Hitler was a pretty cool idea. The best bit was after killing the bosses, you'd get the instant replay of their death. Very funny indeed!

                        I in fact DO have Quake 1. Good times. Good times indeed.

                        Little known fact. Trent made the original soundtrack to Doom 3 but scrapped the idea.

                        Anyways.

                        I bought Wolfenstien 3D on the PSN store and I was surprised how I could actually make it through the levels without getting mad because everytime I played it about a year ago I'd get mad cause of how easy it is to get lost in the god damn rooms.

                              I used to play games a lot, but now, unfortunately, have no time for this as I'm too busy with my job. However, I would play again with great pleasure.
