If you're into the classic FPS yeah sure. It runs smoother and looks good (brighter colors). But yeah I would if you have the patience.

      Where to begin?

      Street Fighter
      Sonic 1,2,3 and S&K
      Medal of Honor
Super Mario 64 and all the other classic mario games
      Goldeneye
      Donkey Kong Country
      Contra
      Tekken
and I really could go on for ages.

The gaming platform of my childhood was my beloved Amiga Commodore 1200. Such greats as Alien Breed, Cannon Fodder, Chase H.Q., Magic Pockets, Worms, Zool, etc.

Little known fact. Trent made the original soundtrack to Doom 3 but scrapped the idea.

          Anyways.

I bought Wolfenstien 3D on the PSN store and I was surprised how I could actually make it through the levels without getting mad because everytime I played it about a year ago I'd get mad cause of how easy it is to get lost in the god damn rooms.
I loved Wolf 3D back in th day. And yeah, those rooms got severely annoying as everything looks alike.

And I wish I could get Quake, never got a chance to play it, but any game made before 2000 is impossible to get working on my laptop

Why not try a Source Port? Maybe Tenebrae if your laptop is powerful enough to run it.

I remember being surprised at how addictive and fun this game was:

              Duck Tales
Stuff to remember: Avoid forums if you're having a bad day.

Ah...retro games. Who Framed Roger Rabbit was one of my favorite NES games. I went back and played it over Thanksgiving, as I have done for as long as I can remember. And I'll be playing the original Harvest Moon as it nears Christmas...another tradition I've had since I first discovered the game. Also adored Super Mario RPG. I also loved that ungodly Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the NES as well with its delightful underwater bomb defusing greatness. As far as old school Psone games....Monster Rancher and Tecmo's Deception.

                    The word Tenebrae means only one thing to me;

Also, let's bring in some more awesome and completely different (same genre, though)

Battletoads, Contra, Zelda: A Link to the Past, Sonic & Knuckles, Donkey Kong Country, Harvest Moon, Mystical Ninja, DOOM, Mortal Kombat, Primal Rage. too bad i can't remember 90% of the NES games i had because they were all borrowed from me and eventually never given back.

Playing Wolfenstein 3D right now on the PS3. Pretty much an exact port of the PC version. I forgot how confusing the Second episode's levels were! My head is spinning from looking at all the different corridors to go to. Other than that, I'm navigating through it pretty well .

Also, I was, and still am kinda, a Pokemon fan. ONLY THE GAMES! The show and the cards never really appealed to me. Good ol' Pokemon Yellow and my temperamental Pikachu

Oh I know it does. I remember how much my brother used to swear a the screen when he found himself walking around in circles. And there is at least one level with something like 80 secret doors or something
