Hopefully the environmental damage will come into play during the multiplayer mode. It'll definitely make each game unpredictable. Of course there won't be RPG's strewn everywhere, but let's say it'll be a nice secondary tool to fuck over your enemy's cover.

Just saw the trailer (I know, I'm a bit behind the times. Busy weekend) and I must say, it seems like they are well on their way to making an utterly fantastic game! Though there is a lot to live up to with Uncharted 2 being so well rounded and near-perfect (my opinion). Somehow, I think Naughty Dog can pull this one off and make it better than 2. Either way, November can't come fast enough!

That can be so rad if we can pull a Ezio if there are dynamic swimming mechanics in the game.

I hope that there will be some sort of Local Multiplayer mode. With the chance of co-op in this game, it's highly likely there may be LM mode. That was one of the major things missing from Uncharted 2.

Given that Killzone 3 has split-screen now, I hope it will be a trend for all the upcoming PS3 games.

I hope so. Not everyone likes to play multiplayer online.

Hell, I'd be happy just for 4 player split-screen!

Unless you're Bungie, it doesn't seem like these developers are willing to sacrifice graphics even more just to get two extra players in.

Just watched the live demo on Fallon...the game looks incredible, as to be expected. The demo was extremely short and had Drake and Sully trying to escape a French chateau that was ablaze, dodging enemies and falling debris and the like. They showed off some new melee attacks, where the camera now zooms in on the action when peforming combos. They also showed Drake doing a new jump-attack, jumping from above an enemy and tackling him all in one motion. It was pretty nifty.

I'm guessing the video will hit the internet soon, but it definitely looked awesome. The fire animations were insane.

I'd love to see them do that section again but played inhouse as a commentary video about the mechanics changes and put it up on the PSN (akin to what KojiPro did with the early part of MGS4 a couple of years back).

Just got settled in Egypt at my parents apartment, and seeing this has made part of my day. It's great to see Victor "God damn" Sulivan again. My personal favourite character of the series. Also the gameplay shows once again how talented the Naughty Dog guys are. Truly some of the best gaming talent out there. It's funny to actually be in the same enviroment as the game in some areas over here

Thanks for the heads up on the Jimmy link, Chris. I should buy you a drink, sailor.

The demo looks amazing! They put such realism in to all the surroundings. The fire looks incredible! I can't wait to show this to my mum and say "Hey, remember the days of Alex Kidd? Well, games have changed..."

Naughty Dog are truly a very talented game company. Bravo ND!

It's not that impressive, certainly not "holy shit son" impressive, particularly compared with most of the second game.
