This is a load of bollocks. A Dante "prequel" that re-writes the other prequel (DMC3) and completely takes why Dante is close to and wants to protect humanity out of the equation by removing the fact that he had a human mother who died. She's now an angel.

I'm more okay with it being a reboot than a prequel to DMC3.

Gotta admit, I'm liking what I'm seeing. I'm glad they changed Dante's voice, too.

Dante sounds like his self from Devil May Cry 3, but that might just be me. I love the look of it myself, I think it'll be a great game.

He does kind of sound like DMC3 Dante (Reuben Langdon).

Well I'm just hoping that they are using the latest Unreal 3 tool set, and with their experience with Enslaved, this game should be fine in its technical level. Shame it has to be 30 fps with 60 fps input and tricks to get the feel.

I saw this posted on Vidya today.

I prefer the second one lol

Same here, even though he does look a bit like Luke Skywalker.

LOL... one of the worst kept secrets ever.

Given Capcom's bad HD porting of CV and RE4 though, I'm not holding out much hope the quality of this will be that good. I'll just be happy to play the original DMC at full speed and without a 3rd of the screen being borders though.

DMC should be fortunate that it makes difficulty a replay value in itself.

As I've never played a Devil May Cry game, this sounds pretty interesting AS LONG AS IT'S RELEASED ON DISC. No DLC bullshit.

Having long been the subject of rumors, speculation, and ESRB ratings, the Devil May Cry HD Collection is now a real snow-haired, demon-slaying boy, and we've got the comparison shots to prove it.

Screens. It looks like more work has been done than say on RE4 or such, clearer textures and widescreen. Looks more than just an upscale, but I guess it'll wait until it's seen in person.

The first game is nigh unplayable to me after DMC3, and I've played both games to death, so I don't think I'd be getting much out of this collection.

I'll have to wait and see, though.
