Absolutely fucking beautiful trailer.

But let's be cautious. Trailers (and CGI trailers especially) almost always are too good to be true. Definitely amped my interested, though. Let's hope the game has this heavy storyline focus, while trying to survive this hell in an engaging gameplay style.

Technology has progressed a lot. I believe what you read might be the mocap process. But nope, everything in the video is CG. It'd look kinda cheap with a live action scene thrown in there.

Anyway... this is looking superb.

WOW, this whole time I thought people were just talking about the cancelled game, silly me. I'm just as excited right now as I was originally, I had just watched the Dawn of the Dead remake and I was pumped for this game since apparently it was to be a "spritiual" continuation of the story ending at the island.Spoiler:

Obviously you couldn't play as any of the official characters from the movie since they were eaten(supposedly). I read that in an interview a couple days ago, guess I didn't even look at the headline in bold letters "DEAD ISLAND-RISES FROM THE GRAVE

Wow, this was in the top-10 trend from twitter last night, with tweets from Simon egg and Damon Lindeolof tweeting the link.And it's almost hit half a million views already on youtube in less than 24 hours alone. I was shocked when a colleague at work, the PO manager, mentioned and showed the video onto his IPHONE, and he's not even a gamer. Guess this has hit the mainstream.

That trailer just made me and two of my school friends extremely sad in the middle of the day.

That was seriously so moving, I can't even begin to describe. Such an artistic vision of a trailer... I'm completely ready for this. Like CR29 said, my expectations are so high right now.
