I find the best way to deal with thugs is just to molotov them and watch them burn.

Well, a mate of mine was roughly 27 hours through the game and after failing a mission last night and reloading from the last checkpoint, his save file will no longer load (360)! Looks like his save file is corrupt. He's tried new games, saving, loading and it all loads fine, however his master file still wont load! Watch out! My advice would probably be to avoid loading from checkpoints, I think that's what I'm going to do, because had he carried on instead and saved over the top of his file it might have sorted it out, instead of him being stuck with a corrupt save file.

Just got to a part where no matter what I do I am never going to be able to get past it without doing it co-op [SPOILER]Catacombs/SPOILER] this game is just so buggy and takes the constant p*** when it comes to respawning especially when the autoload reloads you with hardly any health left surrounded by zombies....

Well I've decided to cave in, even with its current bug state I heard, I've spent £120 on this game already gifting it to some good friends so all of us can play. I hope it's got music like this though or I'm going to have to mod to play these classical tracks.Last edited by Zombie Fred; 09-12-2011, 02:46 PM.

The game is a mess and it's just getting boring now with the quests. It's all just "fetch this" and "kill that" at least other games it mimicked did it much better ie Borderlands. The environmental look great, character models look like complete ass though and seriously I could care less for the story. It's an OK game only because of co-op other than that I'd have sold it by now. this game was hyped to death and I'm glad to be proven right in the fact that it would be only an OK game."Admit it, you're going to miss this ass" - Chloe Frazer

For those who have yet to play it, best way to describe it I'd say would be a mix between Condemned, Dead Rising 2 and Manhunt. It plays a lot like Condemned with it's combat system, it develops a lot like Dead Rising 2 with it's leveling system and it flows a lot like Manhunt from start to finish. I'd say if you like these games you should have a good time playing it as despite the many problems it has, it takes a lot of elements from all these games and distributes them nicely across one package.
What surprises me though is the lack of testing this game seems to have had. It seems at no point during the game's development did people say to the devs "the game's buggy" or "the game's unbalanced" or "the auto save feature is broken." It doesn't even seem as if people have done enviroment checks or things of that nature as within half an hour of playing I managed to get my self stuck (on purpose, of course) in multiple places which were inescapable.Last edited by Guest; 09-12-2011, 07:52 PM.

*looks around and sees a bunch of water bottles and food*.
Pretty much was Jill4ever said. This game was hyped and was a massive let down. Yeah, I've had fun but only when me and my friends were fucking around on it. This game takes its story WAY too seriously to the point its laughable. The character models look like shit and they all have fucking lazy eyes. I will say the enviorments look good. Its a decent game. If you haven't bought it but want to, wait until it hits the $20 because you're not missing out on anything besides bugs, glitches and shitty quests that take itself too seriously. Without co-op I would have traded this game back in by the 2nd day it was out.
