I noticed that RE and SH both have their own sub sections on this site, but why doesn't Dino Crisis have one? The Dino Crisis games overall(excluding 3) were successful. Oh and btw, while I'm typing this topic, is there anyone who has any recent news of new DC game coming out... Be it DC4 or even a possible DC1 remake? The first game was amazing that I believe Capcom should look into making another DC game.

The problem with Dino Crisis (for now, anyway) is that it's dead.

Many would surely love to see it brought back to life, but there's just not enough life in its community/fanbase at the moment to warrant a dedicated sub-forum. While on the subject, though, I'll say once again that I'd still love to see a game that pretty much seriously merges Dino Crisis with the Resident Evil franchise (the foundation for such insanity was already set in place in the original) -
I think it goes beyond being just dead. There are games that are dead, yet they still have active communities, be them discussing the game, active modding communities, that sort of thing. But i think the only people that i seem to see give a toss about Dino Crisis is that S*unders tosser and the guy who's posted this thread.
Not to say that's not a shame obviously because they were great games.

It's better than any of the junk that's coming out today that's for sure... In fact DC1 had a better story than all of the RE games except RE2. RE2 and DC1, IMO, were the top games designed by Capcom in the Survival Horror genre.Comment

It's too bad DC won't be returning. I'd love to see the Third Energy, Dylan/Regina story, and see how the series would progress.
It's my understanding that DC2 didn't need a sequel because you already knew Regina came back and saved Dylan (though this was not mentioned, but you know she did).Comment

I don't know, I still on occasion play through the original Dino Crisis and enjoy the experience. I think it's a very good game, and at some point I'd love to play Dino Crisis 2. However, from what I've heard on the internets, the third game was utter tripe.See you in hell.Comment

The first is one of my top 10 favourite games. DC2 is amazing, but the first holds a lot more charm for me. Lets not speak of "Dino Crisis 3".
