Why no section dedicated to Dino Crisis?

It may be a dead franchise but Dino Crisis still gets mentioned here and there in the gaming world.

Just a couple of days ago, DC was mentioned in this article about franchises that need a reboot.

If it will ever get rebooted, I certainly hope that they do it right. The highlight in Pikminister's post does look promising (wishful thinking), though.

I am torn between a Dino Crisis Reboot and a Breath of Fire Reboot. I WANT BOTH! Breath of Fire 2 and 3 were some of my favorite RPG's!. But I gotta say, I care for more of the story and adventure than the graphics and stuff. A reboot probably wouldn't do the series justice and we'd get a Final Fantasy clone (not a big fan of FF after FFX, to be honest even though I have FF11, FF12, FF13 and Crystal Chronicles; they were enjoyable although not the game I was expecting).

I'm gonna vote for Dino Crisis. What's the worst that can happen?!

I actually would vote for Breath of Fire reboot. The first and third games were awesome. Dino Crisis was good but dinosaurs aren't scary unless you see one irl.

I think that's relative. If you saw a dinosaur running at you in the dark in the RE mention, would you have (at the least) some chills?

I would personally love a reboot or remake of DC1. In the meantime, I must give the game a play again soon.

Dino Crisis was awesome, the first one is my favorite simply because it's RE with dinosaurs.

The second entry was of course more action oriented and really shined as Dino Crisis went from a cool duplicate of RE to it's own original game.

The third entry I didn't play because it was an XBOX exclusive, but when I heard *dinos in space* and * no Regina/Dylan* I washed my hands clean from it anyways.

I like to dream that a DC remake is Mikami's final directed game...but I suppose I should keep on dreaming
