I just realized something: Nobody is running away from Call of Duty. Even Saints Row is going face it this November.
I think companies have come to the realisation it's going to sell well but it won't stop people from buying other games to have other types of things to play. I think also in the US market a lot of focus has moved to improving games for better reviews and in doing that their games have more solid legs for length of sales.
From what I've read and seen of Vita, I have little interest for it. But it's nice to see a few exclusives I want from Sony, guess my PS3 won't be a dust collector for t least a portion of the year.
Well my net cut out about 2 minutes into the Uncharted 3 gameplay, lasted until the conference was over, but I watched it now with the benefit of skipping past the uninteresting parts.
Was a decent showing from Sony I think, not amazing but still good. Leaps ahead of MS for sure.
I'm not sold on the Vita but that is mainly a games thing, it seems a good piece of tech and for a launch price that is good even if for pricing we seem to be getting mugged again in region price comparisons.
Cannot say anything new was show that interests me.
Unless it is a newly made version of 1943 then the Battlefield exclusive is a waste, it is an old game now and it was also bundled with Bad Company 2 Ultimate Edition, as well as having several sales on PSN. Who doesn't own it by now that would have any interest in it?
Have I missed any info in after conference chatter that sheds light on anything RE releated?
I'm going to assume there's going to be two camps on the EA conference of what they're own opinion of it: One side will say "Mass Effect", the other camp will say "Battlefield".
Skyrim looks awesome IMO, supposed to have 300 hours of content.. A game to upgrade your PC for... Can't wait to see FO4 use this engine.
Star Wars: Old Republic is not looking too bad either.
I think/hope Fallout 4 will run on id Tech (gamebryo is just bad), since you know, Bethesda and ID Software are now brothers LOL. The best of two worlds.
