By the way, someone fill me in as I'm not too good on Tekken lore (beyond knowing about tiny stupid cartoon dinosaurs), but is there any reason why there'd be a very large T-rex battle going on in a Tekken game or is that some serious Dino Crisis wank going on in some of those gameplay scenes?

I'm interested in it. What I'm not interested in is Namco's half of the crossover. Tekken to me is a pretty iffy series.

MvC3 has left a bitter taste, and the SFIV AE DLC having pretty much 1 new character and 3 clonish ones yet costing a tenner will probably do the same.

I will wait for a bargain bin price.

My interest has waned after watching those trailers, choice of music is horrendous and Tekken as a whole has gone downhill as a series. It's a miss from me as well.

Game looks decent, still young but I like the look of it more than SFIV already. SFIV was a snore fest, this seem more up tp my pace...

I would honestly just wait for either the Tekken styled vs. game or Tekken Tag 2, which is sure to be the definitive experience, as is the first TTT.

They need to release Tekken 3 on the PlayStation Store. Well, the EU Store.

After watching the trailer, I think I'll wait to see what Namco has to offer. That and Tekken Tag 2.

No, it's still going to happen. The way they formed the contract is that Capcom gets to make their version first, and then Namco gets to make Tekken x Street Fighter. I think the reason Capcom got first dibs is they already have the SF4 engine to work with, while most likely Tekken x Street Fighter is a project that has to be created from scratch. The good thing is, neither company has any say in what the other does, so the games are going to be exactly what each company desires.

Hmm I wonder how Namco will handle it Tekken hadms very few projectile characters and with eight way movement it makes some SF characters useless I think Capcom can handle it well SF has seen a good share of up close fighters

My guess is they might try to do it as a 3D fighter, since it would be redundant to do another 2D version. Of course, by doing that, some great care will have to be taken, but it should be interesting none the less what the results entail.

Yea I hope they release Tekken Tag 2 first though so they'll be more refreshed as to where Tekken is heading
