Xbox1 = 64 MB
Xbox360 = 512 MB
PS2 = 32 MB Direct Rambus or RDRAM + 4 MB Embedded DRAM (main system 32 MB can be dedicated into VRAM for off-screen materials)
PS3 = 256 MB of XDR DRAM main memory and 256 MB of GDDR3 video memory for the RSXLast edited by killer7ITA; 04-17-2011, 04:11 AM.I'm looking for Resident Evil 3.5 (BioHazard 4 "Progenitor" and "Hallucination"-"Hookman" Version) or scans, articles! I don't get why people disagree with a prominently PC-developer's hopes for the next generation of consoles. Surely it stands to reason that they're going to want something to make their jobs easier, more in line with their PC work?
Not to mention ya know, they're the ones that'd be developing for the things so i'd imagine they'd have a better idea of what they need to work with.

And Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, and No More Heroes, and MadWorld, and nearly every Nintendo franchise, and Cursed Mountain, and FFIV: The After Years, and Gyrostarr...
The only thing I can imagine people would say is "stale" are the Nintendo franchises and maybe FFIV: TAY, despite Mario screwing heavily with gravity in SMG and Kirby's new gameplay mechanics in Kirby's Epic Yarn...
The rest have completely original elements to them that makes them very vibrant, exciting, non-stale titles... in my opinion, of course.Last edited by Canas Renvall; 04-17-2011, 01:04 PM.

Meh.. never cared for the Wii so why would I buy this? I'm actually happy just playing my good old PS2. Hardly even touched my PS3 or 360 as it is.
Besides, I'm sure by 2012 people will be too busy fighting off the hordes of zombies when the great zombie apocalypse of 2012 occurs anyway. (Joking of course.)

I'm sure that some day people will be buying a video game console to replace their PCs, but next gen just "isn't the right time".

As I mentioned before, a console maker would lose profit adding that much RAM. But hey, what the hell do I know? I would actually be pleased to be proven otherwise, when the time comes.
Everyone has there own opinion. Personally, I love the Wii. Mostly because mine didn't even break down when my then two year old daughter fed it pennies. Where as the other two break down if sneezed at.
The Wii is a fairly durable system with a decent OS. I'm sure there are other ways, but the main way to brick a Wii is to illegally modify it's Operating System.
With the PS3 and 360, just inserting a brand new game that just hit the market and/or official firmware updates is enough to turn them into paperweights.I'm a blackstar.

Yeah. My only real issue with the Wii is it has a limited library fo good games. There are some awesone ones on the system, but my Wii has more child friendly games for my kids than it does adult stuff for me. Which isn't especially a bad thing, it's just something I would like to see changed...on the next console, apparently.
Also, the assholes need to bring over Fatal Frame IV.
