Recently I helped finish off my friends computer after he got all the parts I linked him and now he's with me in Robot Hell. I take pride with my little machine and I am not afraid to admit it (for that price alone as well) and will help anyone who wants hand in this area (I am an IT Technician anyhow ) and know the best place and budgets for a good computer.

I'm basing this opinion off street fighter 2 championship edition, street fighter 2 turbo, street fighter 2 championship hyper etc...

Oh, and Super Street Fighter II HD Turbo Remix or whatever it was, don't forget that!

I agree with Wrathborne. And last I checked I'm not a greedy fucker... I happen to like consoles and PC. Sure, sometimes I don't like shelling out for multiple copies of a game and wish I could have it all on one, but it's still nice.

And yes, 360 owners bitch all the time because their version of Left 4 Dead doesn't get all the love the PC does. Like free DLC for starters. *has both games on PC and 360*

Well at Captivate '11 they finally got what they waited for such a long time for.
But where they happy? Hell no! They want ALL of the upcoming games to also be released on the PC.
When a video game company decides to make a game for the PC, they have to brace themselves for the worst - piracy. They know, before the game is even developed, that they are throwing their money down the drain. This is why most game developers make games for consoles.

People will always find a way around DRM, they will always make "no-CD" patches, and so on.

Most, if not all, PC gamers are very well aware of this, so of course they want *game* ported to their beloved 5000$ PC, because they know that they'll be getting it for free through piracy.

Any PC gamer that bitches about this crap should suck it up, stop wasting tons of money on their [already obsolete] PC setup, and just buy a fucking game console, already.

          This is a stupid debate.

I would love that. That would save me some bucks to play Heavy Rain and MGS4 on my xbox/pc. But hey, I'm only missing a PS3 and then I won't worry about exclusives and crap like that. I have enough gamer love for all platforms

Then you move in very confined circles i can only assume. You haven't seen PS3 owners want the original Dead Rising or Mass Effect or PS3, despite their sequels being available on their platform?

As for Wii owners not wanting RE5, there was a time on the Unity board when plenty of people wanted it.

Says the guy who has absolutely no idea about how much a computers costs and who make stupid assumptions about PC players.

The amount of trolling in that sentence is amazing.

And hell sure I'm gonna trade my 1500 bucks computer that I use for everything to play all games, including FPS, on a console with an inferior resolution, graphics and a gamepad. Yeah sure. I also should give up on indies and simulations? Nasty troll.

I happen to build and repair PCs for a living... it's called sarcasm, jackass.

                  Nasty troll.
I am whatever you say I am, pal. If that means i'm a troll, then so be it. You're the one who wasted your time to respond.

You may have missed some of the sarcasm in my post due to only seeing a snippet. I shall lavish upon you the full and weighty text, it's sarcasm in full bloom.

As some who does not own a decent PC I know I wouldn't kill and eat one of you lot for the chance at StarCraft 2 and Diablo III, since the origionals were games I played as a young man and still love to this day. I'm certainly not sad at all the awesome fanmade content I miss out on for games like Fallout and Dragon Age.

Everyone's greedy. Everyone wants what they can't have. Given how many times I've seen BastardCat complain that a Capcom game isn't on the Wii, I find this thread quite ironic.

Why would I have not seen your full post? Or is that an assumption you're making based on me only quoting the first paragraph (ya know, the only part I actually wanted to discuss, since i'm not bothered about what PC games you want to play)?

Now, you say it's sarcasm in full bloom. Does that include the irony you spoke of in the last paragraph? I assume not, maybe next time you could go the extra mile and chuck another paragraph in the mix denoting said sarcasm? Had you down as the type of of person that would have known sarcasm doesn't translate well in text.

they're not really greedy, its just companies are too lazy to take advantage of optimized performance, which results in bad ports.

When you want everything under the sun, you're greedy.
Its not like they're getting nothing and asking for a game.

...I have the oddest feeling I'm being fucked with. Stu, I moderate an internet forum. It features games. About 1/3 of the posts on here are people complaining about something, including how unfair it is that a game they want isn't comming for the system they prefer. How the hell anyone can take that post even slightly seriously is beyond me.

Hand on heart, you're not being fucked with. I didn't spot the sarcasm, that's all there is to it. People on this forum say the most bizarre of things, have the most insane of reactions, bat shit insanity is par for the course most of the time!

So it's wrong to want stuff? So... wishlists are signs of evil then? If someone makes a big wishlist, whether or not it comes true, they're malicious?

God, I was a real fuckin' douche back when I was seven or eight around Christmastime.
