On that note, Alan Wake is one of the few games that appeal to me. Everything else is typical bald space marine supersoldier fare, designed to cater to the college frat boy mentality that is inherent to the 360 userbase. Sony have made the same retarded mistake too with the Killzone series.Last edited by Mr. Spencer; 05-07-2011, 08:31 AM.See you in hell.

But hey, if it red rings on you, you'll have a nice looking Turret from Portal 2.

Wow, I saw this conversation almost word-for-word. In 2007.
People can have their favorite systems, that's fine. Everyone's allowed their own opinion. But c'mon people, stop baiting each other and fighting over "the better console." I'm fortunate to have all three systems and I love them all for different reasons. All have their flaws, sure, but they're by no means gamebreakers.
PS3: Love the console exclusives (of which there are many). I mainly use this system for single-player titles because many of them look beautiful when made specifically for the PS3/PSN and much of the time they have stronger stories than other console exclusives (not all the time, Alan Wake and SH: Shattered Memories come to mind as exceptions relax people ).
360: This is my multiplayer game station, as well as my obviously 360 console-exclusive area. In my experience, when it comes to wireless like I need, the 360 has stronger service for a pretty small price. Doesn't bother me much. And the "red ring" thing is dead now. They fixed it almost completely with the Elites, and then the new 360 Slims or whatever they're called. Yeah, I had mine RRoD on me twice, but guess what? They gave me an Elite for a replacement after that, so I'm not gonna bitch and complain.
Wii: Honestly? I have more Wii games than the other two systems. I'm a motion control guy, and most of my games directly contradict that notion of the Wii being a "kiddy system". Yes, I have my Mario, my Kirby, my Zelda, my Super Smash... but I also have my Silent Hill, my No More Heroes, my Resident Evil, my MadWorld, etc. Who cares if people think it's a kiddy system? As long as it has good games, who gives a crap?
People need to relax.Last edited by Canas Renvall; 05-07-2011, 10:50 AM.

To be honest I don't even take the console war seriously, but that doesn't stop me from fanning the flames and igniting some arguements. By the way, I'm having an issue looked into regarding possible Microsoft involvement in the recent PSN network outage. There's currently no evidence to implicate them but we can't discount the possibility. As soon as we find the individuals responsible, we'll interrogate them for information and hopefully they'll reveal who their real masters are.
At this very moment I suspect that Emma is in a phone call with Steve Ballmer, discussing the success of their corporate sabotage and the use of Anonymous as scapegoats in the whole affair.See you in hell.

Sir, have you considered the possibility that it may have been Nintendo? With their recent announcement of Project Café, they could be trying to kill off their competition to put themselves in a greater light.
(Super excited for Café by the way )Last edited by Canas Renvall; 05-07-2011, 11:08 AM.
