Wow, so yet MORE to come? They're really rolling out the red carpet. I hope we see some much-requested features being implemented in the near future.

Seems a lot more than just getting a copy of Undertow.
Were you actually planted on this forum by Sony?

      • The stuff they are giving away is a nice little gesture of them to do. But there's still no way I am going to be buying anything from their service for quite some time.

He's under orders to apologise on behalf of Sony. Here Spencer, got you an avatar for you to put on

LBP would be an insulting choice given it has a far superior sequel out that runs everything the first does and the fact LBP has been given away for free with several PSN+ promotions already.

Apparently only 10 million people had card details registered with PSN. As well as no evidence that card numbers really were taken, they just being cautious and saying they 'might' have.

          • Thing is, the offer of PSN+ for thirty days is a wise move by Sony. Not only does it look like a gesture of good will but it's also a way to give a trial of PSN+ as a means to encourage users to sign up for the service. I think we've got to win back the trust of the customer and what happened has breached that trust, there's a long way to go before people will trust Sony again and that's understandable.

Mistakes have been made but we're going to put things right and do what we can to restore faith in the company.

            • Just wait for the glaring flaw in the Live system to get exploited. Then you'll be A-OK.

              • We've already got our best minds working on that.

                • I assume that anything purchased/downloaded for free through this 30 day PSN+ freebie won't actually be available once the 30 days is up though, as per the regular terms of the service?

                  • Microsoft won't be exploited. They aren't arrogant, don't sue everyone and are an impenetrable fortress of gaming awesome and dreams. And they have Halo.

                    • See that's always been the problem with you, Stu. Majority of people I deal with would happily sit there with their PSN+, blissfully ignorant of the fact that after thirty days the content they downloaded would no longer work. So you see, this whole scheme has to be deniable. From which you can no doubt infer that you too must also be...deniable.

                      • And you know what Spencer? Despite all of our console bumlicking, neither the PS3 or 360 have Zelda.* /War

*Even though Twilight Princess was shit

                          • Zelda represents as much of my childhood gaming as RE. Oh, the many hours I spent on A Link To the Past on SNES.

I still have faith and trust in Sony. This incident impacts me zero, except for the loss of two weeks of possible online play. There's nothing to really worry about, except catching the assholes who did this, and making sure they go away for a very, very long time.
