xbox is just a computer, its as susceptible as any pc to hacking. Microsoft had anti-monopoly suits brought against them by the fed, no they don't have any sense of entitlement.

      • Jeez, and I was seriously considering getting a PS3...

This is a really fucked up situation, for its customers and for Sony. Their PR record is absolutely horrid, and this debacle certainly isn't helping.

This mess is supposed to be sorted out soon enough, but I'm not buying shit from Sony now...

                  • Just hope people read the whole thing and not just the headline. Not going into details but safe to say probably most of that data is out of date or nonexistent anymore.

                        • Ugh... I've received word that it will be even further delayed due to the Japanese government wanting answers.

Microsoft not arrogant? They throw money at everything and think they own the PC platform because a majority of games only run on Windows. They do not own the hardware and as such will never own the PC. I will never, ever install Windows Live on my computer.

Microsoft doesn't sue, they get sued and then throw money up in the air to get out of it.

Impenetrable? Not quite, the xbox 360 is just a PC with a different OS. A very closed one that doesn't allow Steam to be run on the machine I mind you. Also, Halo stopped being relevant a long time ago and there were always better FPS games on the PC. Halo without Bungie is like a dog without its master.

They're obviously doing it for their own profit and not some vendetta that some claim it to be. Stealing personal info is hardly a stab at Sony and more a stab at its consumers.
