Sorry about the double post but a new article on IGN on how this AC game will help connect all the previous games and the hopeful AC3

I even made a custom figure of Ezio's armor of Brutus/Romulus right after ACB came out lol http://figurerealm.com/viewcustomfigure.php?FID=26895 I guess I just fell in love with Ezio's character as well as his family and friends like Leonardo. It also helps that Ezio's VA is also RE5/DSC's Chris Redfield and he does an incredible italian accent.
I know alot of people are tired of Ezio and want the series to progress to a new age, with a new lead character and I sort of feel the same way. On the other hand, I'm glad he's having a proper ending title, I felt like Ezio's ending in ACB was kind of abrupt when I wanted to see what happened later in his life, such as his return to the villa. I think it would be cool to see him die as an old man in Revelations, since we saw his birth in AC2, the whole cycle complete. Touching.Last edited by REmaster; 05-12-2011, 07:42 PM."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

I suprised no one ever talked about the trailer.

After seeing some new gameplay footage:

I'm more excited than ever for Ezio's final journey. New things such as being unable to climb when you're seriously injured, being able to make bombs and plant them near fallen guards, etc. looks very interesting.Last edited by REmaster; 09-03-2011, 09:06 PM."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

There's definitely some recycled elements but I play mostly for Ezio's story. I own all the AC games (on PS3 at least) but I didn't care much for the story of Altair. I feel somewhat attached to Ezio because:
1. How many video game characters do we get to control from the time they're born, all throughout their life until they are near death?(not counting Lemmings lol)Solid Snake is the closest I can come up with.
2. Ezio's VA is awesome, and also voices Chris Redfield(even though I don't particularly like the "new" Chris).Last edited by REmaster; 09-13-2011, 06:13 PM."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

I must agree with u REmaster, and I believe most people didn't care as much about Altair because they didn't flesh out his character as much as they did with Ezio in ACII.
I can't wait to play Revelations. The AC storyline is SO PERFECT. They clearlly know A LOT about history. I play the games with a friend who's studying to become a History profesor and it's amazing how much reserch has gone into everything.
One can say AC has the most tight storyline any game series has ever had

One thing that amuses me about the games, is that they give that warning at the start. The one that says any similarities between their characters and real people, living or dead, is completely unintentional blah blah.
Then they have people in it like da Vinci. lol.
I do enjoy these games greatly. I'll be preordering Revelations, and in preparation for it I've been reading the novels. Which are great reads, by the way.

Originally posted by Darkmoon View PostI admit, I only played the first game, and not to completion, but I saw a lot of...fast and loose with history while I was playing. I have a degree in Archaeology, in case I haven't bragged about it enough yet for the entire internet to know. I can't remember too much of it (only played it once, right when the game was new) but while there was obviously a lot of research into the time period and area, it wasn't brilliant. They certainly didn't let history get in the way.
