PlayStation Network Relaunch

So I didn't get an email so I resorted to a new account which worked lmao and yea my old ps3 died so the current one wasn't the activated one

Well you can reset your password via the website but unfortunately when you try the network maintenance message pops up again. At least for me it does.

I find it absolutely hilarious that they can update your console via the internet but you can't connect to their network...

I just turned on my ps3 and still nothing, ill do it again in 2 hrs and if its not up ill try tomorrow.

You can also do a password reset on the console if you hit the forgot pword option, and follow the prompts for resetting it, but we still have to wait for the network to come back up.

guess a couple more hours wouldnt hurt.

No LOL I got on my main account turns out there's no need for email just try signing in and they'll say you password is invalid then it'll lead you to a screen where you input you new password

Yeah, I had no trouble signing it. It prompted me to do a new password. Did that. Typed new password into the log in. Done.

I have a feeling the network will still be relatively quiet the next few days just because I'm sure few people are still using the original Playstation they signed up with and whatnot.

At least the states gets a map, the European and other SCEE areas won't know until it happens. :p I'm guessing tomorrow for me.

Really I don't really care all that much, I wasn't planning on going online anytime soon anyway. My main thing is I would be happy to sync the 100 or so trophies I've earned since the outage to my account online sometime soon though just in case my PS3 dies. Again.
