Kasumi is 17 and Ayane is 16.
So they said it was child porn.

At least the creators have a sense of humor.

Pretty much this. Some of the girls are underage (though at one point their ages were kept as a secret to avoid such problems). Seems the game has a character viewer in which you can look at the girls (guys too but why would anyone want to do that) from all angles. I find it amusing since this game is T rated, so I expect they scaled the jiggle and thong shots down a smidge....maybe. I suppose since the game is a handheld, and on a Nintendo system, people think its supposed to all be for kids. It makes me wonder if the other DoA games were banned from that country for the same reason. The ban also applies to the other Scandinavian countries as well.

While panty shots and swimsuits are a bit iffy on girls of that age, unless there's an actual topless mode, it's a bit harsh to call it child porn. I've seen girls wearing swimsuits walking through town younger than that, and when I lived by a beach...goodness, the number of young people in swimming costumes was high.

Don't get me wrong here, I hate paedophiles with a passion only slaughtering them all in a hideous way could quench, and I'm not being my usual playful self there. But this seems silly.

Seems like political correctness fails to grasp reality again.

It's illegal to do something like that though. I read this thread on GBATemp and th mods said that Nintendo can not make the system not work as it's against the law to do so. I forget where I read that but I also heard they could be sewed as well for doing this.

Well, Games Workshop gets away with a lot because most of the people they pick on don't have the resources to fight back legally. Nintendo might be counting on the same here.
