It's funny how slow Phantom speed feels after playing some rounds of Zone Mode.

Inzone mode I find I do really well but the moment it goes wrong a little bit it is all over, I won't gradually lose health and die, I'll be at 90-100% then within a lap die.

I'm still keen on organising some kind of tournament on here, least I know you'd be interested in such. Played a few races with Kaneco and valentineisdead though both are steadily improving their game, been trying to convince the latter that he MUST use airbrakes if he wants to have any hope of getting round corners at those speeds.

I'm finding the online very frustrating and not very enjoyable.

The warping problem happened a couple times even on Rapier, and the fact that draining shields, stopping you dead and reseting you backwards from where I was on the track is so devastating to cost a race by only happening once sometimes it makes it an issue I don't really wanna deal with.

The host seems to be invincible to many weapons for a set time also, I drop mines when directly behind me several times and he would just pass through them, I guess doesn't register them being there yet, as well as that when I get hit with a missile or something I come to a slow crawl for a few moments, when I hit Keneco he would too and I'd shoot ahead of him, but 70% of the time I hit host he didn't seem to slow at all, sometimes I would be directly behind, hit him and still not overtake or even gain, and no, shields are not active at the time.

The thing is I've never known anyone who has played this game to experience the issues you've been reporting. I had none of the warping off the track or anything like that. As for what you said about using a team/ship with poor shields, bear in mind that the team I was using (Icaras) have the worst shields in the game. Every other team has superior shields to them.

Also Kylie, during our entire tournament not once did I hit any of your mines. Perhaps it wasn't me glitching through them but rather the fact that I avoided them completely. I've been hit by many missiles, all of them have slowed me down considerably. I recall one particular time when I got hit and that allowed you to overtake me and go on to win the race. I am not immune to enemy weapons, I can assure you of that.

There was one occasion where you launched a missile and I activated my shield right before it hit.

On my screen you pass directly through the mines, I'm presuming they either do not register on your screen at all until you passed them or the sync is so bad that aiming the planting of them to hit behind me is worthless because you're to the side or something.

It doesn't warp me off the track to be clear, it warps me like I drove off track, just resets me in the middle of the track back a bit from where I was with some shields taken away and needing start from zero acceleration.

From the sound of your reply to what I'm seeing on screen the sync between host/client must be awful.

Well next time you can try being host and see if there's any difference.

You're not a bad pilot though.

Whoever it was during the MvC3 match just now spouting about what I just wrote and saying some racist words you aren't funny. I couldn't make out over the MvC 3 music clearly what was being said but I heard enough to know it was repeating what I wrote and some racist words.

The three other people in the room were Mr Spencer, Keneco and someone with the PSN ID of 'Jakal'.

I've never heard any of you speak before and it started on character select screen so I coudn't tell which of you it was, but seriously, why? Apologies to the other two.

Wasn't me either...but I felt you rage quit on me.

You left me mid-game, then I sent you a message but never answered back. =/

I was barely listening to whoever was speaking in the background so I didn't mind.

EDIT: At least you just answered back as to why you left...but still, couldn't you have waited until the match was over or at least have warned me about it instead of just quiting on me without saying a word? I mean, 20 more seconds and the match could have been decided...

Its only a match ended early, I didn't think it was a big deal? I have better things to do than listen to that sort of language, even if it is for 20 more seconds. This post marks the end of this.

Well it is a big deal to me if all I get from a first impression that you'll rage quit on me on the first game...I mean you didn't even bother to tell me about until I asked you twice.

It really made me think that you rage quit on me and that you will try to this everytime we play.

Well, lets get back on topic, the next time we play Wipeout together you'll be the host.
