Tecmo did say they were gonna think about the international fans with the next installment after the whole Nintendo fiasco.
I sincerely hope that this is a new title; as much as I love the second game, I've already completed it so many times already.
I wouldn't mind a port of 4, but I'm recently replaying that again now, so it'd be a bit pointless to me.

"There is no truth to this," a Tecmo Koei spokesperson told Eurogamer this morning. "Looking at the titles on that list it looks pretty out of date."
