Gears of War 3 leaked

Anyone heard of this yet? Apparently someone got ahold of the alpha beta of gears of war 3 and has made its way to torrent sites and can be played on a jtagged xbox. From the videos ive seen the game is roughly 90% complete from retail. Some green boxes are out of nowhere and no lip synchs in most cutscenes and ending(yes ive seen the ending) What do u guys think?

Yeah i agree. Just wanted to know some of your guys thoughts about this situation. I heard that the FBI is on this? I doubt it

So apparently the source was a completely open unsecured file storage network? If true then who would MS/Epic sue, the person that stumbled over it through a Google search or the company that left it totally in the open?

I've never played Gears, not my thing, but i'm interested in this purely because i like seeing what happens in cases like this. I've been enjoying Square freaking over the Deus leak suing anyone they can even though the developer, Eidos, doesn't seem too bothered and it seems to be helping them more than anything.

I'm sure the gears of war community is OUTRAGED at the prospect of getting the game early AND free.

But I'm not a gears fan at all so I'm indifferent.

If the game was actually finished PERHAPS I would like to have it already. But I don't like spoiling the story with green blocks and unfinished maps... I'm a Gears fan BTW, but I'll guess I'll wait 'til September.

I read somewhere that the game is finished but Microsoft needs a strong title for the holidays.
