Nope, check the credits, Shinji was Creative Producer, Suda was Executive Director/Writer, Massimo Guarini was the Director/Co-Writer and Brian Gray was a Co-Writer.

a collaborative effort with Shinji being the creative director and Suda being a producer.

You know, there's tongue in cheek humor, then there's just plain fanservice. I dearly hope this is the former.

She probably should play Killer 7 where you find a mindfrak instead of "fanservice".

This game just skyrocketed to near the top of my 'wanted' list

No More Heroes, but as a chick, with zombies instead of suited guys? Hell, sign me up. Just hope it's not going to be a Move game. Not that I dislike NMH on the Wii, but I'm just not that active of a person. I prefer a pad.

Looks fun (interesting and a little bit weird, as per usual).

(I'm glad that IGN linked out to a Gamespot video because their videos have been broken for far too long).

I do hope that we'll see some gameplay footage and hear how the music will come out. Looking at the footage and since I've been listening to music from some of Suda51's early games with Human Entertainment (Twilight, Moonlight Syndrome games) they're a bit stuck in my head with the footage.

Ok, apparently GhM wants to keep us entertained all year because they're now supporting/making another game (along with Digital Reality again) called Black Knight Sword. Off-topic, but still, this is getting way too awesome.

After watching the trailer and reading a demo rundown it sounds like it'll have the same problem Shadows did. It's not a game for mature audiences in the way Killer7 or Flower/Sun/Rain were, it's a game for immature audiences who just want lots of swearing and gore and think that's what twisted is. Not a game for me, i'll take a game with a complex plot over tons of guts and trash talking any day. I think from now on i'll be very cautious about any game that promotes itself from day 1 as a "SUDA 51 TRIP" or "FROM THE TWISTED MIND OF SUDA 51".

I think it's the overall design of it is supposed to be a bit weird to some people.

I like Suda's games mainly for the factor that I enjoy them for what they are (I'm looking forward to when some of my other Human Entertainment games arrive that Suda was involved in).

I'd rather something a little bit silly, even if it is filled with vulgar language and zombies in an interesting manner than a FPS filled with guns that has bonus zombies in it.

I think in terms of marketing using "A Suda51 trip" and the like works because the majority of people don't usually understand his games and seem them as overall weird, the normal response I've heard regarding Killer7 has either been "I don't even know what the fuck was going on." or that they thought it was amazing.

So it's kind of hit or miss, but the quirky styling (visual, effects and the like) of what we've seen in things such as No More Heroes, Shadows of the Damned and the soon to come Lollipop Chainsaw appeal to me because there's some actual use of colour, a good voice actor/actress range, music and overall it's something interesting and fun to play (I have to admit, the little storybooks in Shadows of the Damned were amusing but at least the dick jokes did slow down a little at a point in the game).

I'm not automatically expecting all of his games to be solely targeted to mature audiences because he's done so in the past with the aforementioned titles Killer7 and so-on. That and I don't exactly feel that Shadows of the Damned or Lollipop Chainsaw having been marketed specifically for mature audiences, they just seemed to have general marketing for a multitude of audiences.

I mean, lately when we've had films such as Inception a lot of people had to watch it repeatedly to understand it and we're having the same thing done with video games sadly. I'd rather get something still interesting instead of being promised a complex game only for it to be dumbed down upon it's release.

That's just how I look at it.

Might have more variety in attacks then NMH.
