I really wish they would start making these to where they all compatible with all versions of the game. I don't understand why I shouldn't be able to play with someone who has the regular version of the game (or vice versa...Someone with UMvC3). Surely, they could make a patch that basically upgraded the gameplay to where it was more or less on the same page.
My point with this is I am mildly interested in the new roster, but I know some of my friends wouldn't be interested in upgrading. That and I really think these games need to match the price market. I'm not sure if it has been posted yet the cost to this, but beyond $40, Capcom can just keep it. I see $40 as being too steep for something I basically already have.
Ultimate Omega Super Street Fighter IV-2 (Hell Mega Version) should only cost $20 at most...But no, Capcom seems to think the fans are just going to buy repeat versions of a game just because they add this or that.sigpic

Also, I laugh at Wesker's health being nerfed. He's got less health than Stark now.
You will have to be more careful with him, thats all.

On the contrary you will have to be more careful.
Those were some great games we had, loved that one match we had where both used Wesker's Level 1 hyper, we had the exact same idea and the game broke and went tits up. Love it.
I think the only character I excel with is Iron Man, I play him well.See you in hell.

I plan to do a lot more training with Iron Man, he's the character I'm most comfortable with using and with some more time I'm pretty sure he'll become nigh unstoppable. When he's got the Doom assist, he's even worse.
Come November I'll pick up Ultimate Iron Man vs Scrub Characters 3: Stark's Return.Last edited by Mr. Spencer; 07-23-2011, 12:58 AM.See you in hell.

Super Street Fighter IV -> Arcade Edition does this. Lets you play both versions and set rule/balance set (as a result of the backlash from SFIV -> SSFIV, even though SSFIV was $40 on launch. SSFIVAV went full budget.)
BlazBlue Continum Shift also does this with the updates.
Problem is that your game really needs to be designed around it from the start.
Also... back in the Street Fighter 2 days... no online and full price for each upgrade. Even worse for those of us who had to import at nearly twice the price of what a game cost locally back then (The Super Street Fighter 2 cart a friend of mine bought back then cost nearly $200 with today's exchange rate)

I am hoping that MVC3/UMVC3 will mimic the trend and be compatible with older versions.
I do want this "Villians" costume pack that is available via preorder from Best Buy. I would quite like a S.T.A.R.S. Wesker.
They need to hurry up with the Nemmy videos...sigpic
