Jill/Shuma are like the first set of costume DLC in SFIV, works for both original and new versions. The costume pack for MvC3 will work on Ultimate also.

Yeah I can understand that... I wasn't glad with REvelations price hike, but I'll buy it because I really want to try it. So I'll have to play Capcom's "game" this time.
I usually wait until games get cheaper unless I have an insane desire to play said game. I guess I'll wait with this one too... Or buy it used.

To be honest Capcoms pricing on Euro PSN is so bogus that I am glad this is not DLC. They wanted £12 for 4 new characters in SSFIVAE as DLC, screw that crap. I bought it on disc for £18. Then I can leave my SSFIV at a friends.

I can only imagine the price they would want for UMvC3 as DLC, it is what? 12 new characters, plus new stages, plus the new mode that does something or another. The £20-25 for UMvC3 on disc probably costs less than if they tried to flog this all as DLC. Look at price of just Jill/Shuma.

You know, far be it from me to tell people this since there are some gamers that have no problems paying extra for nothing. However, if you DON'T and wish to pay standard rate as opposed to Revelation's listing price you can always shop around as some retailers will charge less.

For example I've noticed that Amazon listed Revelations' listing price but will still sell it for $39.99+ shipping and handling which still came out to below the $50 price tag. If I had any reason to want to play the game at launch (and my mind may change in the coming months depending on what they unveil since) I would go there.

I didn't think those were necessarily a bad idea. Actually, it was slightly interesting to see how Capcom employees would play...BUT I am not paying extra money for something that trivial. I think they were only $0.99 on the US PSN; I want to say that was also only for three battles. I would maybe consider $0.99 for ALL battles, but even still, that definitely seems like it should be free.

Next they will have you paying for Hyper Combos..."Oh, you want to use Wesker's Midnight Rush? That will be $4.99..."

No, she had poor-average at best assists and far fewer options than other characters, her hypers were much cop either, that is why nobody used her over similar characters with better assists, far etter hypers and more options. Now she is worse.

Even a poor character can be played good, that doesn't mean they aren't still poor. You're clearly not grasping the balance aspect. Wolverine and X-23 do what Jill does better and with more options, Wolverine is especially better, same way Akuma outdoes Ryu making Ryu rather pointless. Ryu got buffed heavily in Ultimate, Jill got nerfed. There isn't much logic to it.
