OMFG at Jean Grey 90's X-Men costume! She is TOTALLY going to be on my team at this point certifiably. It can't get much better than that. . .except for a future X-Men character expansion, with my beloved Cyclops and Psylocke, but nevertheless. . .can't wait till tommrow. I wouldn't mind having the cyber akuma costume, but not really a big deal. (Fucking put Apocalypse in the game, Capcom!).

Well, just picked up the game at the Midnight launch. Fixing to test this baby out in practice mode before setting my sights on my prey. . .

Well, played for a few hours now. Vergil is so FUCKING BOSS! He is such a deadly fucker if he gets you ensnarled in his sword play, or one of his turbos, but sadly, the online lag input keeps fucking me up where it concerns his teleports and getting the super jump to register to get into a team aerial combo. Really annoying, but besides people being cheap assholes(OF COURSE!), I've started to have more fun since I've given up on Phoenix atm to use Wesker(I'll save that team for friends. . .till my Vergil becomes rock solid anyways). Seriously, I can't stress it enough. I've done some crazy shit with Vergil (with certain combinations of his devil trigger form and X-factor) that's put away almost an entire team rather early. Doesn't exactly happen to often because of the online lag, but boy, do I see so much promise. I may even have to give him the third slot even.


But, just to be clear, at the end of the day, this really does still fill like a huge ass rip off. Don't care about the new characters much outside Nemesis and Frank West(and not really impressed with Nemesis, besides his awesome theme). Spectator mode doesn't count as a new feature, since that should have been in from the start, period. The new stages are mostly reskinned jokes. I would be perfectly happy to stick to vanilla 3 easily, if it weren't for a couple people here who made some silly choices. . .but eh, whatever. Last bit of money Capcom's getting from me for a long, LONG time.

The "new" stages are reskinned but some of them do look different and plain awesome.
