I was fairly hell bent on not buying this until a friend started telling me about the new characters and their moves...Well, today with a coupon in hand and a DS game that I wanted to exchange, I paid roughly $16 for it. Do I think it is worth $40 for what we are given? No, not really...BUT, some of these characters are nothing short of awesome.

Vergil...I love the balance of super speed and resistance. He doesn't seem to take any where near as much damage as Dante, and his moves just seem to flow more smoothly. Nova is a pretty cool addition too; I haven't really played around with too many of the characters.

And I notice I'm gravitating back to Super-Skrull whenever I get in a match that seems to be a bit tougher. He seems to be the only character I can chain decent combos with, though I cannot stand how easy it is to execute Tenderizer namely because I get so sick of hearing him say it.

I like the idea behind the Heroes and Heralds mode; the cards giving various power-ups in a nice touch.

I'd be willing to play online matches with people who are average or below. I, myself, and by no means a fantastic player, and it isn't much fun just watching someone fling your character back and forth across the screen. Feel free to add me (though like I've said in the past, state who you are in the invitation or I will ignore it).

Oh, that must have been you. I apologize, but I declined the invite because I didn't know who it was.

Though, in all truth, you wouldn't enjoy playing with me; I looked at your trophies and could tell you were one of those players that is quite good at the game. I'll give you a quick run down on where I'm at skill level: I am having a lot of difficulty beating Galactus on normal difficulty. I just learned about this "super jump" ability a few nights ago, and have yet to actually try it and see if I can beat him that way. I swear he is harder in this version than the regular MvC3! When I play people online, I get maybe two hits in and then all three of my characters are wiped out. I am looking for someone who is amateur, and by amateur I mean that you pretty much suck at the game.

Watching someone chain hit after hit after hit and wiping out your team in 3 seconds really is not what I classify as fun or even fair for that matter.

Why won't others from here play with you?

I've had the game since Christmas. It's pretty fun, moreso than vanilla version, I think. I'm quite partial to my main team of Hawkeye-Deadpool-Nemesis, but I also like using Hulk, Chris and Nova. If anyone wants to get a lobby going some time or just wanna play a few matches, PM me.
