So TGS is soon this month, what games are you hoping they reveal?

me...I just want a release date for ORC

That, plus hopefully Atlus will reveal something about Persona 5. I understand that it's currently past the planning stages, they have all the crew they need (including Shoji Meguro), I just hope they give at least a screenshot or design concept or something. Also, Atlus hasn't said anything about the other MegaTen games they announced for the 3DS.

well my friend said he'd get me MW3 and one other game for christmas, (im giving him some classic games and 30 dollars) so a release date would be a good idea.

Some say there is a big chance we'll see something about RE6.

Now, if they do show something about said game and its something most RE fans like (the protag, the setting, return to horror, etc.), then RE6 will absolutely steal the thunder away from ORC and Revelations.

And I dunno if that would be a good strategy. Since I would think Capcom would like to place the spotlight on those games for now.

There's always next years E3 to show RE6 and have it take the center stage and whatnot.

They could still just announce the game with a small teaser, just like what they did with Revelations and RE5 before, and after that we would have to wait until a long time (6 months or more) to get more news about it. In that case, it would not affect ORC nor Revelations

I dunno, even a small teaser could drive fans crazy and to become totally obsessed about the meaning of whatever they see in it.

And RE6 would steal some of ORC and Revelations thunder. Even if the teaser sucked or especially if what they saw in it made fans angry, ppl would discuss it for the entirety of those 6 months you're talking about.

From a marketing perspective, it makes much more sense not to saturate the scene with too many RE titles. But instead, focus on the two you already got there and build as much HYPE on them as you can. And not having that hype dissipate just cuz they want to announce a game that may not even come out in 2012.

But this is Capcom we're talking about.... they have no clue in terms of marketing (remember the RE4 ps2 port untimely announcement back in 2005?). So yeah, they will probably announce RE6 soon.

I already read stuff from several ppl from the gaming community say that RE6 will be shown at some capacity at TGS. So it will probably happen.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII release date, for the love of God. More on MGS Rising and MGS Vita(you know it's coming). Bayonetta 2 reveal would be lovely. RE6 info would be nice for the lulz. And I know I'm crazy, but something, anything about Kingdom Hearts 3 would make me very happy. Won't happen, though. I think we'll definitely get an ORC release date, and that'll be good to know. Hopefully sometime early- to mid-2012.

^The game has been off radar for a while now, I guess they wanna make the slicing more accurate.:p Or they're rebuilding it and need more time before showing it off.

This. So much thiiiiiiis. Playing Devil Survivor Overclocked right now and am loving every minute. Plus, knowing Atlus is making a MegaTen fighting game PLUS Persona 4 for Vita...must have P5 though....and maybe an announcement of Devil Survivor 2 for the rest of the world.
