  • LOZ: SKyward Sword 50-100 hours of gameplay?

    --------

The temptation is there, I've always enjoyed The Legend of Zelda games and the idea of there being a Zelda game with over 50 hours of gameplay is relevant to my interests...but I cant help but feel they might be over exaggerating quite a bit here.

Well, it can be 50+ hours if they throw a shitload of collectibles. I remember spending months getting all the skulltulas on Ocarina of Time. Of course, on those days you couldn't find a guide on the internet that easily LOL. I like Zelda and will try this one out for sure.

      50 to 100 = 25 to 50 in reality.

I think they said 70 hours for TP and I beat that with a majority of side quests completed in 35 hours or so, and many of the side quests may as well have been skipped for all the use/fun they were. Mostly fetch quests.

Yes, exactly! That is such an exaggeration, there's no way it takes up to 100 hours to finish everything.. I think my TP file has about 42 hours on it, and I spent 3-4 of those hours fishing, haha.

Still, looking forward to this game like crazy! I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up playing for 100 hours just staring at all the pretty graphics. * u*..

They said 40 hours on average for TP, actually.

Either way, I'm excited for this

Guys, Skyward Sword includes a 2nd Quest.

NOA said: Did Mr. Miyamoto just announce a second play-through and boss challenge mode for Skyward Sword? Awesome! #3DSconf2011
So the game could be 50 hours long + the 2nd quest could be another 50 hrs.

Consider also that that time is what you could make on a first run. And not playing with a game-guide by your side.

A second quest? Going the route of the original, are we?

I'm so pumped for this now. Zelda is by far one of my favorite series, glad to see they're putting lots of TLC into it~

Other reports are saying second quest = new game+ only.
