The game's going to be good, and I like, if this is correct, playing as that frank-west look alike character who's middle aged. I just hope they take some notes from Red Dead (best game of the generation) when it comes to that forest area with hunting and other gameplay ideas.

Rumor has it there will be multiple characters. One off them may be Tommy Vercetti (guy in the trailer in 0:40 time).
      Spoiler:

If Tommy Vercetti is in this game that would be god damn brilliant news. I was a little gutted that they skipped Vice City and went back to San Andreas only 1 game after they had visited there but hell if Tommy is back I dont give a toss where its set.

Am I the only one tired of the repeated GTA style of games? Been doing the same thing for 10 years now, not just in GTA series but plenty of others. Is long past stale.

GTA followed by GTA3 then GTAIV all ripped up what we knew about gaming.. I'm not sure if this one will have the same impact or not.. looks fairly standard so far and I'm not liking that logo..

I was hoping for Vice City like a lot of people.. Oh, well. Can't argue that San Andreas looks stunning in these next - graphics. And if Tommy did return, that would be all kinds of awesome. >8D..

Im not bored of these games just yet. Im a big fdan of the GTA series and now the Saints Row series as well. Luckily they are sufficiently different from each other so that i dsont get bored so easily. Im glad were coming back to san andreas as that was definitely my faveourite GTA game to date.

Found GTA IV mind numbingly boring and tedious. I didn't even finish it. I did the bank job, and had no money problems whatsoever, and my phone wouldn't stop ringing. The map was so big and boring to drive through I used to take taxis everywhere and skip to the destinations... It was actually really annoying to play. I'm looking forward to SR3 alot more than GTA V now. Shame, because I loved Vice City and SA.

I like to play games for the feeling and immersion which I think GTAIV did brilliantly.. if you play it for achievements etc then its gonna suck. It's pretty sad if you can't create a decent adventure of your own with the world GTA gives you..

You do realize you are posting in an RE forum, right?

I love RE to death, and it has changed a bit over time, but, let's face it...the majority of RE games are the same. You can almost always find a puzzle, for example, that you have seen in one of the other RE games. Let's not forget how many times there have been explosions and such.

Gotta say I know it's early for GTA:V but in my opinion based on the three comparisons available this gen. GTA:IV, Saints Row 3 and at a push Crackdown. I'm converted to Saints based on 20mins with it compared to a couple of hours with IV and most of Crackdown2. I LOVED GTA last gen (and the gen before) but IV was, tedious. I couldn't believe the scope and scale of San Andreas with the customisation and variety but IV felt like a huge step back. I preferred Liberty/Vice City Stories to IV. I'm gonna grab SR2 and 3 and then wait for SR4 I guess . . .

                            Where's the FUN?!

RE never did the same style of game for 10 years, what is your point?
