    That's a weak example. We could then chastise the James Bond series, or any action movie since the 80s as unchanging because they all have explosions.

    Nonetheless, I'm with Al on this one. Vice City had a bright, expansive feel about it which made exploration all the more fun. Not happy about going to San Andreas in favor of it, or shit, a new setting (how about putting it in a different country for once?) but I'll keep my eyes and ears open. Hopefully Rockstar takes a few tonal notes from Saints Row and lightens the game up a bit.

      I'd be happy somewhere between GTAIV and Saints Row. Ballad of Gay Tony was a good step back towards San Andreas, but at the same time both it and GTA4 sometimes felt like they'd thrown too much in to do and not enough real reason for half of it, which I think is half the reason people got bored with the last title. So if they can even just improve on that I'll be happier about it.
