Did people really throw a fit because WiiU's pro-controller? That design is used by almost every damn console since the SNES era, with the PS1 adding two new spaces on it, the only way anyone can say Nintendo copied Microsoft is if they never played anything before the 360.

Written as I was catching up....

Halo 4 - That was a very nice piece of cinematics with real and CG stuff, but the game still doesn't appeal personally.

So Xbox on other devices is true. Hope this isn't setting a standard for what's to come.

New Splinter Cell's looking good but perhaps a little bit more shooty than I expect.... Mr Spencer, happy? Not convinced on the voice commands yet. Looks nice though.

EA Sports with Kinect.... you know the voice thing seems impressive, but I'll be interested in seeing how responsive it actually is. I mean I can see EA building this over years with minor improvements just like all of their games. lol

More Fable... with Kinect.... Microsoft's rolling out the franchise sequels...

Oh speaking of which, Gears of War.... Forza... MS just playing it safe...

Oh here comes the extra content section of our show...

Wow, Spanish... he stretched himself there... don't applaud that. lol Oh.... it's a tie in. Basic commands are fine, but compare to the sports games before I expect that will falter when people start yelling at the screen.

I might just go to sleep now. None of this really is going to factor to most countries other than the US and surrounds.

Microsoft is allowing sharing to devices.... lol That can't be good given Microsoft's track records on such earlier attempts.

So to combat the Wii U... Microsoft is just allowing you to turn any tablet device into a gamepad.... thats outside of the box thinking, but I figure based on so many different devices out there probably not going to be as successful as one would think.

Hickup in the feed after the Prometheus clip. Nothing much else to say about this whole segement other than its expected as I earlier said to put Xbox as many places as they can.

Tomb Raider sure looks Uncharted-edy. I guess thats fair enough, the original Uncharted concept took chunks of TR Anniversary and Legend. I really thought this was going to be more survival focused, but after the trailer and gameplay it just looks far more action packed like the older games. I dunno, I kinda liked the basic suvival idea more than new Lara shooting guys in the head with a crossbow lots. And then brutally shoving stuff in their faces. Eyah.

      Exclusive DLC... strike 1.

360 Exclusives.... not really doing it for me. Matter's "thing" is going to get a lawyers call from Nintendo.

RE6 is about what I expect. The QTE's fit into the same concept of having a section based on melee anyway. However having a segement like the explosion thing while akin to RE4's run from rock thing seems the same on the surface, it shows the action gameplay only. People will be picking this apart for a while, so I figure I don't have to say much else.

      Exclusive DLC... strike 2.

      Wrecketeer.... sleep time.

You know I haven't watched South Park in a decade, but Stick of Truth might make me reconsider that. Good work from Parker on taking the piss out of the cross device stuff.

Dance Central again... why wouldn't they.

Well That chewed up several minutes.

We finish with BLOPS2. Exclusive DLC... strike 3. Microsoft's deep pockets strike again. Weak finisher. Was hoping for something new and massive.

Microsoft paid lots and played very safe. Dissapointing.

Just saw the Splinter Cell: Blacklist footage, I'm really not sure...

        No Michael Ironside, no buy.
        See you in hell.

          No buy then.

Watching the spike feed. Thanks to ads have mostly caught up on the 50 minutes I was behind. Pitchford was just on talking Aliens Colonial Marines, but seemingly that was undewealming. Now showing more Tomb Raider content. It's more survival early on supposedly.

I just realised what I don't like about these hosts is they rely on injokes, sometimes even personal stuff. Horrible presenting idea.

Not too surprising, what else was he going to be doing at this time of year. lol

              EA starting now.

              Dead Space 3

Edit - Drop in, out, co-op. Looks more action oriented. Going all RE on it.

I remember people going on about Issac being all chatty in 2, no with 2 players he's chatting all the time almost.

"We're just offering so much more content." No, you fucking cut it out. You're not fooling anyone but the sheep press sitting in front of you.

That really was more action packed. The issue too with co-op is the fear drops when you have someone else with you.

Early 2013 is already packed, another game on the early train in Feb.

So DS3 is... slimy. And then Madden... Now Sim City Social! Yeah Facebook games! This is what I love most about E3! >_>

Edit: Ooh, sneaky little thing there with a real Sim City coming right after it. Smart move.

Can someone really explain to me how yearly sports titles managed to sell so well year after year? I really just never get this. lol

Edit - Point out the ex-IW guys.... Dig in that heel EA.

Low budget since they barely change jack shit, and they know they can get the fratcore gamers to buy it.

                            Edit: BF3... Premium membership... :|

I want to get back into BF3 so this maybe has some interest.

Was leaked already so not a massive surprise. Not exactly an original way to really make yourself different from the competition. EA can't be the leading provider of content if they just copy everyone now. LOL

Edit - Cheers Canas, but I just don't get people can buy the game again with such minimal changes. You know EA could surprise the crap out of everyone by saying in the future one release will last a few years with updates and changes only made via DLC/Online. And start an EA sports premium subscription for the same service.
