Yes, but Snake was also a hermit in Alaska for 6 years before the Shadow Moses incident, running sled dogs in the Iditarod and drinking his life away. In that briefing video, his hair did look pretty blonde, but I think it was just the bad picture from that 'surveillance camera.' Why would it have been blonde? In Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake and every other incarnation, Snake's hair has always been a dark brown(not counting MGS4, of course).

nice dude, how much did the mgs1 collectors box set ( the silver mgs box ) cost ye? i had the small metal notebook that came with it but lost it during a move

The box isn't in the best shape because of the way it had been stored where I brought it, but everything is there.

It cost me $100NZD at the time I brought it (1999, around $50USD)... which was ironic because the game by itself in most places was $110 by itself... it was just a lucky find back then. The EU edition is still awesome, but inferior to the Japanese edition of the same box. Both sets tend to go for a few hundred dollars at least these days, and if they're signed by Kojima even more.

I've only opened and played the game (which is in the top picture) and the strategy guide that came in the package. Everything else is still as it was when I got it.

i seen one on ebay for $135 but it didnt come with the game wtf?
i was thinking about bidding on it but then i came 2 relize its not worth it since its not complete.

btw that snake fig u got is pretty rare cuz its the olive drag version not the regular blueish type.

i got the snake figure to in that olive version it came with that version of mgs 4 i was in the store i asked them if they had the game yet she said ya so i was like oki cool
then she said we have 2 versions one with just the game and the other with this figure so i was like but isent it more expensive then ? and actully it wasent they both costed the same so i was oki then il take that one then.
