MGS4 was a great game. Is it true that they are making it for the 360? I seen it on X-play.

I doint now why pepole doint like MGS4 like it's a great game I can understand fans aint happy with how the whole series unfolded but the gameplay had inproved alot and the graphics were some of the bests I have seen in a video game but I gess it must br the story and the fact that the gameplay aint really at long you spend like 10 hours just whaching cutsences.Last edited by Sephiroth; 04-26-2009, 07:30 AM.

I'd disagree on the gameplay. While there were some nice tweeks, such as the new cammo, the game went far too actiony for many fans taste. The game was always about sneaking...running through a level gunning down enemies shouldn't work, and yet it does.

also i hate the damned camera. and it was far to actiony, the fact i could get through an entire act without even having to sneak once even just ruined it completely.

Absolutely not. Standing in one spot and jumping in the water over and over again...pretty lame. The Fury was also pretty lame, as well. But that's because I compare it too The End and The Sorrow which were both absolutely incredible in their own unique ways. The Fear was alright, made special by the fact that he could eat animals and fruits to replenish his stamina. Ocelot and The Boss were also both fantastic, as well as Volgin and the Shagohod.

I agree with darkmoon because the MGS games I played were pretty much stealth and a even amount of action and MGS4 hardly had any stealth instead they replaced it with a shit-load of action. Same thing with resident evil. They replaced the intense horror in RE4 and RE5 with a lot of action. There, I said what I had to say...Last edited by hellrizer; 04-25-2009, 11:34 PM.

i think they made the stealth alot harder since theres alot more enemies running around.
gekkos and dwarf gekkos are harder to get passed by to cause they can see through your stealth device (if you decide to use one).
plus even if you do use the stealth device it doesnt work all the time cause you turn green if you are in caution.

The way I look at it is this way:
Grab MGS1, MGS2 and MGS3. Start from scratch, normal difficulty, and try running through the game killing anything that gets in your way. It doesn't work so well.
In MGS4 you can do it. In fact there are large areas where it's actively engouraged. Where using stealth is only for going for a emblem. The epsionage has been toned down in favour of the action, where before there was a good balance.

I just checked around to see if the MGS4 will be for the 360 and it won't. Then I checked videos on youtube and its funny what people says about MGS4 on the 360. They have this one video that shows a cutscene of MGS4 on xbox 360 and like every minute it tells you to switch to disc 2, then 3 , then 4 and so on. Funny stuff. How much memory does MGS4 uses anyway? It can't be that much!! I just can't wait for the xbox 720 to be out.

Has anyone else apart from me seen how there are elements from Metal Gear 2 are use in Metal Gear Solid for exsample:
MG2:The fight with Black Ninja after beating it turn out to be Schneider and in MGS fight the Ninja after beating it turns out to be Gray Fox.
MG2:The elavator boss fight with the Four Horsemen and in MGS the four stealth suit genome fight in the elavator.
MG2:The Fight with Gray Fox in the mine filed and in MGS the fight with Liquid on top of Rex.
If anyone else can think of other thing I may have miss feel free to add them.Last edited by Sephiroth; 04-26-2009, 07:49 AM.

METAL GEAR SOLID
MGS has always been action
you guys arnt taking full advantage of the octocamo thus you guys are just making it a run and gun action game.
MGS4 is 3 quarters action and one quarter nostalgia.
i used Octocamo sometimes but most times i found it to be useless since there was a gunfight going on between some rebels and the PMC's and there wa really no point sneaking since i could just run through and shoot and it would be no different than if i didn't. i did sneak through some parts though, just for fun.
but get an M14EBR and put a Silencer on it and the game is just too easy.

Originally posted by Branden_Lucero View Posti realized, that Wasp fight in MGS3 was dumb. the only good boss fights in that game were The End, that spider/ camouflage fight, volgan with whatever that tank is called, and the last fight.
