...no, it didn't. MGS1, MGS2 and MGS3 are as good as they were years ago. Playing through the games by themselves, they're still fantastic. It doesn't matter what MGS4 retconned or 'ruined.' If you can't handle MGS4's story and you let it bother you so much that it 'ruins' the other games, then I don't know what to tell you.

MGS4 ruined many character and had a crappy ending to an awesome saga.

Now when i play MGS1, i know that Grey Fox a character i thought was cool, killed Para-medic my favorite character, i hate that.

and now when i play MGS2, i know that Ocelot, a previously awesome character is just pretending to have Liquid as his arm and is really just an idiot or retarted and is not actualy bad but pretending to be bad.

Now when i play MGS3, i know that Para-Medic, Sigint and Major Zero are all really evil and must die.

Fucking MGS4 ruines everything i love about the series.

I don't know, I think Zero's vision should come back some day and snap all these Big Boss pseudo-soldier kiddies into shape. If I ever become a moderator on here, I'll see to it that such a vision is made a reality on THIA. =P

Yes Ocelot is the most awesome most badass character ever, Liquid is cool but i like Ocelot a whole lot more. especially in MGS3, that was his best appearance, and i really liked him in MGS2 as well.

It's the fact that they made Para-medic evil in the first place pissed me off. see my comment on what they did with MGS3.

i mean while playing MGS3 during one of the many interesting conversations with Para-Medic, could you ever imagine such a sweet nice girl such as miss Clark ever doing such attrocities to someone ever? it's unimaginable, it's like imagining Vulkan Raven singing opera in a purple gown, it just doesn't work or make sense and it's stupid.

So in turn they ruined Para-Medic by making her evil, but never showing her evil so she's just a nice sweet girl one day, then we never see her again. and then later Kojima tells us, 'oh i forgot to tell you guys, but Para-Medic is now an evil phycotic murderer who tortures people and stuff, and this cool character you like killed her as well like years before this game is even set. and since there was no development of Para-medic turning evil, i still think of her as innocent,a dn the fact grey Fox killed her makes it hard for me to even like him or care about him.

but yes shes evil and im actually ok with that cause people change and she was working on
Frank for the sake of science and well it just wasnt her lucky day and Frank killed her.
but still i liked gray fox and he died and hell he even wanted to kill snake but you dont see me
complain and say that hes still alive and he was never bad he was like Big Boss in Snakes Revenge GRAY FOX IS A ROBOT!
