I will most likely be getting a PS2 refurbished for only 60 bucks. I want to get the whole MGS series besides the obvious (part 4).

Is there a special edition box set or something? Or will I have to but them all separately?

And is MGS1 a PS1 or PS2 game?

Well last night I got 20000 reward point for my male MGO so I got the resistance outfit for him and I got the Frog for my Female 2 weeks ago so I doint need to go on Suvivor as much I still need to get the gloves and hats for him but there not on the top of my list at the moment I just want to level up again.

Then they really did make a mistake when they made his eye color in the pic they released of him.

After all this time of Kojima stating he needed to be in his team cause they were not ready, and people calling him stupid for it, he lets them make something themselves and they have already made a huge ass continuity error.

I am still looking forward to PW a lot more since Rising is only a spin off. I think Rising should be on PSP and PW be on PS3.

Kojima's been a busy man,he's got one more game up his sleeve and its got cyborg ladyboy Raiden in it!

While basking in the news that Kojima was readying a brand new MGS game for PSP and resurrecting the fortunes of Castlevania, he also used the konami conference to reveal that MGS Rising was coming to PS3.

The game will NOT be a Xbox exclusive and will mark the first simultaneous release for an MGS game- featuring tech-ninja Raiden as its playable hero who after infuriation fans in MGS2:Sons Of Liberty made amends in MGS4 for a more robust return.
Kojima has referred to MGS Rising in Japanese interviews as a spin-off and there are suggestions that he would rather focus hus attention on the sony-exclusive MGS Peace Walker; a proper follow-upto MGS4 and a game that sits in the series canon.
In fact,Kojima isnt directing MGS Rising or is involved in the game design,he's merely acting as a guiding hand to director Kenichiro Imaizumi, so his actual input is potentially marginal.

Gameplay will likely be more action orientated than a typical MGS game. The tag line is "Lightning Action Game" rather than "Stealth Action Game"- so expect a game in the Devil May Cry mode. Kojima has said that the dev team is a new set of 'young bloods' who he is using as a devise a US-orientated game design.

The game's first teaser trailer shows Raiden in his MGS4 armor,sword drawn and crouching on what appears to be Crying Wolf.Sounds Good.
