    • That trailer's like a month old. I don't know why I didn't post it here in this thread.

We should be getting a real 'new' trailer this week at TGS, plus a lot of gameplay videos.

        • Ow yes Master Miller returns that Galvez guy looks like Roy Campbell as he looks in MGS4 anyone else agree with me on that.

          • Please tell me that's not Ashley Wood artwork on the bottom left of that picture. PLEASE.

About the characters, though...I'm glad only one of them is recognizable thus far(Master Miller). Hopefully most of them are brand new. I could see the Galvez guy turning out to be a villain and Coldman being one of the bosses. Other than that, no Frank Jaeger...yet.

EDIT: The magazine did manage to show a few event screenshots, though, and also pointed out that the game's cut scenes will mix in computer visuals with illustrations from both Yoji Shinkawa and Ashley Wood. It seems that the illustrations aren't just static, though.

            Ehhh...we'll see.

              • The Peace Walker TGS Stage Show begins tonight at around 8PM PST, so, it isn't out of the realm of possibility to expect a new trailer tonight. Hopefully, something that shows off some storyline as well as these new characters.

                • It's funny the more I look at that Galvez I can see him been the main Villain of the game

Another reference to Dr. Stangelove perhaps.

                      • It's well-known that Kojima is a huge fan of Bond movies, and cinema in general. He gets a lot of 'inspiration' from film.

                        • The demo doesn't go much into the story, but Konami's released a few more tantalizing details about that to the Japanese media this week. It turns out that Militaires Sans Frontieres (the mercenary corps Snake works with in this game) is run by Master Miller, a guy we last saw in the original PlayStation Metal Gear Solid. (He made his Kojima-world debut in the Japan-only Metal Gear 2 (1990), where he was one of Solid Snake's radio contacts.) The corps is currently in Costa Rica on a mission to rescue Paz, a mysterious girl whose name means "peace" in Spanish, from a shadowy rival organization. Among the other characters revealed: Galvez, Paz's teacher and a guy with a red, robotic appendage replacing his right arm.

                            • The Peace Walker stage show begins at 12PM in Japan, which is 11PM EST and 8PM PST, and it's expected that Kojima will debut a new trailer which is said to be over 9 minutes long. Hopefully it'll go into some more detail about the story, and possibly even give us a tentative release date.
