So far the experiments have failed, but personally Im all in favour of developers using advertising to get additional revenue if they use it for patches and support. Im actually more in favour of ads than actual silly concept of DLC which is already abused.

Sure but this is the biggest PSP (perhaps mobile) game of the year, you'd think it would have every bell and whistle that the PSP is capable of. I know Japan is more keen for personal MP but the fact that MGS players all around the world are unable to play campaign missions together is a really disappointing fact; I don't know if they "really" lacked the funds or the experience of network codes though I'm not saying it'll ruin the game at all, just that it's a really major missed opportunity.

MGS: Peace Walker Possibly Coming to PSN/PS3

GamePro contributor Ben PerLee noted this during his "Peace Walker Bootcamp experience":
"So after I had done the preview, [Konami] had a Q/A session with us to get our complaints/ideas about the game. Other than the basics, they asked what we thought about if they released it on PSN for the PS3 as well and had online multiplayer."
It's noted that this is not an unusual question to ask of media tester types, but the article also points out that "the Konami representative asking the questions actually wrote down the answers," and this is an oddity.

One week 'til I start Peace Walkin'. I can't wait. Everything I've read from people who imported the game so far has been very encouraging. Some call it the best Metal Gear game since MGS1, most call it the best game the PSP has to offer. Variable play-times clock in anywhere from 20-60 hours to complete the game.

I've been busy with work and other shit going on in my life, so I almost completely forgot about Peace Walker...but it's back on my radar now, with full force. I'll be picking it up on Day 1 and playing it til my thumbs bleed.

What's bothering me is, does anyone have guess to who is the...Spoiler:

major antagonist of PW?

^ If you really wanted to know, the game came out in Japan over a month ago and the cutscenes and info you would need to find that out are already all over the internet. I'm on lockdown, though. I don't wanna know about anything. All I know about the game is that Militaires Sans Frontieres are 'employed' by the Costa Rican government, and 'Mother Base' is the basis for Outer Heaven.

I only hope we see a sort of degradation of Big Boss, leading into the Big Boss we see in Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, the 'evil' guy(depending on the point of view) who's hell-bent on waging war for the rest of time. That, and I bet we'll see a lot of references to Major Zero and Big Boss's hatred for him, with the game being set 2 years after the Les Enfants Terribles project, and after he left the Patriots.

Well since Solid Snakes role is now done as said my Hideo Kojima that Solid snake will no longer be the protagonist in anymore MGS title. Well for now they will either make raiden be the next main character after solid snake now an old man and big boss who has passed away. So for now IMO they will most likely use raiden as the successor to solid snake as protagonist on future games and games to reveal what big boss did in his past.
