Since whaching Rising's new trailer I've been wordering if Dr Madnar from Metal Gear 1 and 2 will have some importance in this game remember he did create cyborg's In Metal Gear and in the trailer we saw a cyborg this game might explain how he suvived the events of Metal Gear 2.
Hmm that interview was intresting indeed at least and the game does takes place between 2 and 4 so this should be at least intresting to see how Rising ties in with MGS4.
This is the SHIT it's brilliant Peace Walker is one of the beat PSP game I have ever played and it's is one of the beast Metal Gear Solid games in the series.
The story is excllent there's no plot holes like there is with the other ones the controls are a real improvement over Portable Ops. Mr Kojima took every that was good in PO and MGS4 and made this excllent game. The Mother Base is a hell of alot times better to PO's base and that goes for the re
The boss's battles were brilliant but it was a shame there was no human boss's but the AI bosses were good but the final battle againt Peace Walker it self was fucking awsome and im not the type to get chills down my spin but wow the music and atmosphere were some of the beast I have felt in a long long time.
Right know all im doing is creating my Metal Gear awsome and doing extra missions
Can't believe Paz was working for Zero this whole fuckin' time. The convo between Big Boss and Miller on the helipad of MSF leads me to think that there'll be another sequel or two in the future. After all, there are still 21 years between Peace Walker and Metal Gear.
I enjoyed the ending, definitely got some chills. Paz rambled on about how 'Cipher' aka Zero wanted to create a world controlled by electronics...aka The Patriots...to put an end to the Cold War. A world where ideologies didn't matter and everything was under one umbrella. Outer Heaven wasn't really The Boss's will after all...it was an escape from Zero's attempt to control everything.
I really liked the post-credits soundbyte this time around. Big Boss talking to all of his soldiers:
"We will forsake our countries. We will leave our motherlands behind us and become one with this earth. We have no nation, no philosophy, no ideology. We go where we're needed, fighting not for country, not for government, but for ourselves. We need no reason to fight, we fight because we are needed. We will be the deterrent for those with no other recourse.
We are soldiers without borders, our purpose defined by the era we live in. We will sometimes have to sell ourselves, and services. If the times demand it, we'll be revolutionaries, criminals...terrorists. And yes, we may all be headed straight to hell. But what better place for us than this? It is our only home. Our heaven, and our hell.
This...is Outer Heaven."
All the talk before this of how they were going to be 'hunted' by everyone in the world because they chose sides in the Peace Walker debacle only leads me to believe that there will be another sequel. Like I said, with an intro like that plus 21 years of free time to fill up, I doubt we've seen the last of Big Boss.
Another nice touch: the timeline before the credits. I liked how it ended with:
2005: Miller is found assassinated in his home by an unknown assailant.
Nice nod to MGS1, and even more confirmation of who 'Kaz' really was, even though it was blatantly obvious.
Paz was a spy I was shocked to find out she was working for Cipher (Zero) there's me thinking she was a kind person she turns out to be a crazy bith and she stole my Zeke when Paz said Zero wanted to control guns I got chills running down my spin.
I will say that was a good plot twist in a way Peace Walker did the fake ending in away we thought Coldman and Zadornov were the villians but really Paz was the real villian and last boss like in Metal gear 2 we thought Gray Fox was the main Villian only to find out after beating him that Big Boss was the real last boss and villian that was a real good plot twist I never saw that commeing.
Spoiler:
But I think there will another game for 2 after Peace Walker there's still 21 years before Metal Gear starts and there still some plot holes to fill up
I just recruited Cecile and now I don't know what "Enemy Search" means; tried using binoculars on a enemy but nothing happens. And where do you acquire just a regular gillie suit since a friend of mine has beaten it many times and yet has yet to get one.
