I've just about done every thing in Peace Walker I listen to Spoiler:
Eva's tapes she make for Big Boss explaining why the Boss left Big Boss in 1959 and what happen to her over the next five years I doint want to say what happens because it's one of those spoliers you just have to listen it your self but I will say it's heartbraking to hear what happen to her over the next five years and belive or not it's change every thing we thought we knew about her and it makes killing her in MGS3 know real hard to do
they both presented a challenge for me the original psx one was the first stealth game I ever played and snake eater seemed impossible at first glance with the lack of enemy radar and all.also the stories kicked ass without being overly complicated.....when big boss loses his eye is one of my favourite moments in a game ever!
So basically this is just confirming all of my suspicions about the game. They're ripping the heart right out of Metal Gear Solid and simplifying the shit out of it to attract a more casual audience, a.k.a. people who don't wanna sit through the long cutscenes, a.k.a. people who would've had no interest in the previous games. More action, less stealth, less cutscenes. This is officially not a Metal Gear Solid game anymore. Call it something else.

All of which apply to the average Xbox 360 owner. They won't have played an MGS game since they've been retarded and bought a 360, they'll be simple minded because those are the kind of people which the 360 is marketed towards.

I agree with your sentiments.
Also, that video isn't available for me.
Yeah, because I own a 360 and much prefer it to the PS3, I'm retarded, simple minded and obviously have no clue about gaming. Shame on me.

Keeping it classy there, John. I guess this NPD month release has left a bad taste in your mouth? Don't worry about the fears if you think Rising is the next direction for the series. If I remember right Konami sees Rising as a spin off series while there still be the same traditional MGS titles coming ("Oh what other series have I seen this before?" Resident Evil treatment coming!).
Yeah...should've mentioned that. It's US-only. It's basically what the article describes. Geoff Keighley is talking about the VGA's and there's a bunch of stuff on a screen behind him, clips from games that are nominated and are going to be teased, but it's all going on in the background. Then, suddenly, the screen cuts to the Peace Walker logo and that familiar loud beeping noise plays(the 'this is not a test' kind of sound) for about a second or so, and then it cuts back to Keighley.
I dunno if it's a Peace Walker expansion game(like Portable Ops +), a PS3 port or maybe a sequel, but it's pretty prominent in that video. In any case, Peace Walker is one of my favorite games this year so I'm excited to see what happens tomorrow night. The VGA's seem to have a lot of big reveals this year...more than last year, anyway.

Don't start console wars again, thanks.
Don't threaten me. Also, get off my back already. I've only been back a few days and already you're flexing your moderator muscles. If you don't like pro-PS3 talk, go to Capcom-Unity. I hear it's all the rage over there.

Why does it take two of you to make the same counter arguement? Are you joined at the hip or something?

I'm not threatening you, I'm warning you not to start console arguments or accuse people of being retarded. I found your post very rude, offensive and unnecessary and quite ignorant as well. Gareth can post what he wants and so can I, as can any other member of the forum, no need to get personal. Stop trolling as it is against the site's rules. I would have thought you, having being on the RE community for a considerable amount of time, would know better. Perhaps you're keen to make an impression after having been gone for a while? Put your stamp back on the site?
In response to the part you've edited in - I have no issue with people who like the PS3 whatsoever. It is every person's right to do what they want in their personal time. I do however have an issue with people who have no respect for what some people prefer to play and insinuate that people who purchase a certain console are "retarded".
You and Gareth can say what you want? That's fair enough, that's fine. But by that same logic, so can I. I'm a member of this site just as much as everyone else and I have the same freedom as such. I do not troll either, I don't do anything like that anymore.
In addition, I think you're being personal now by assuming that I want to regain some recognition or some nonsense.

You can't post something which is in violation of the site's rules. Calling people "retarded" for buying a 360 is a personal attack on anyone on this site who owns a 360. By your 'logic', I'm being no more personal by suggesting that perhaps you want to regain some renown on this site than you are by saying I'm flexing 'mod muscles' because I take issue with the fact that you called me, amongst many other members, retards. If I wanted to flex mod muscles, I'd have used the infraction system, simple. It was just a friendly warning but if you don't want to listen to that warning and won't drop the issue, I might have to do that or refer it to another moderator if you'd prefer.
