Figured i'd make a thread where we can post 3DS accessories that we have and would like to recommend to help each other out.

I'll start with my frustration of trying to find some kind of system-only carry case or pouch that will fit the system with the CPP (circle pad pro) attached. I finally came across a large microfiber draws-string pouch that fits perfectly that I recommend to others having the same problem. And you get 4 for cheap. But if you know of something better, please post here.

Another problem with the CPP is the lack of a stylus port. I got around this by simply cutting out 2 rectangles of adhesive velcro strips. I put the hard piece along the top of the CPP (right behind the actual 3DS). I wrapped the soft piece around an extra stylus that I bought for 45 cents on eBay. The velcro also gives a better grip. Anyway you can just retract the stylus and it fits securely on top of the CPP. You can have the stylus put away and it doesn't get in the way while playing either.

I'm still waiting for this to come out. It solves most of the 3DS' problems, except for the small screen size.

And that 3DS video capture device, which is making some good progress, if it ever comes out. God knows how expensive the official 3DS TV out/devkit devices are.

I've got a battery pack on the bottom of mine (called Powerpak+). Had it since day 1. The battery life is ok. I'd hate to think how it'd be without it.

I've been looking forward to that Nyko pad. I wonder if it'll have a stylus port and access to the cartridge slot, though. I also wonder how it will attach to the system. My 3DS is still under warranty I think so I don't want to have to remove its back panel to fit the larger battery.

Opening up the 3DS is not necessary, according to the official product page. Battery probably plugs in via the charger port, while the CPP component works via IR sensor, much like its official counterpart.

Made by the same guy who made the custom DS Phat capture devices too. It'll probably be expensive and produced in limited quantities, but at least not $3000 expensive like the official one.

Well I just got my 3DS cyber slide pads in the mail today all the way from Tokyo. Took approx. 3 & 1/2 weeks to get here to the U.S. and cost about $15 incl. shipping. I haven't tried them out yet but I can tell you that they look much nicer in person than the pictures online show.

I'm just happy to have these as they seem to always be sold out - I just got lucky and placed my order in time. They come with a cool little keychain thing that holds your favorite ones. Anyone else have some of these?

I don't know when these will be back in stock, but amiami is probably your best bet for finding these and the site is reliable (I paid via paypal, amiami only accepts payments in Yen).

Hey guys, just an update.. the new clear 3DS cyber slide pads are in (just recently released), but they're almost out of stock already.

I tried to place an order for 2 but I got a message telling me that they are in low supply. So I placed an order for 1 just to keep new for my collection. Having used my blue ones, I can tell you that these are really nice to have and are worth importing.

So yeah if you want some of these, secure yours by placing an order, just a heads-up!
