Aren't those dodge/battle prompts or something? You know, kind of like in RE4, SH:O ?
To me it looks like you have to tilt your analog stick according to where those red lines show up on the screen. Just a guess.
I can see why they're dropping the number, the press release discusses this as the sixth title in the series - even though Origins is Zero in Japan, I'm guessing they want people outside Japan to look at it as the sixth title and continuing to call it Silent Hill V would confuse people.
I skimmed over the details. Sounds... as average as always. Plus more QTE's in a survival horror game... wow, nice to see "trend setting" there guys... oh wait... it's been done... for several years now.
I thought it was interesting when I heard that the most hardcore Silent Hill fan on the staff, the guy that more or less got the studio the project, has left the project. That kinda worried me.
[sarcasm]I didn't know they are planning PS2 version too.[/sarcasm]
Unless there really is PS2 version in production, that mean this comes from PS3/X360 version. Is it just me, or does it look worse than Silent Hill 2 (look at Alex's hair..., look at those textures...).
It's strange 'cause the old videos of the game looked good. It's taken a huge step back in visuals. Hell, even Alex's new design feels like a step back. And the combat even looks pretty clunky, which seemed even stranger to me as that was one of the first things that we were told they were sure they'd fixed with Five.
