I hope you'll share your thoughts and impresions about the game when you'll get yourself a copy. And I mean all of you unfortunately I have to wait longer for the game.
"Barry never vanished from the series. It was the series that vanished from Barry. He's inside all of us. " (C) Smiley
And while I’ll leave the reviewing here to my Kotaku colleagues, I’ve spent hours upon hours over the last few days playing it for my Variety Magazine review, and I’ll just say that in my opinion, it passes the test with flying colors. Yes, Silent Hill fans, you will be happy.
The feature is worth reading too, though it's something that most of us have thought about in the past 3 years.
Anthony Gallegos spoke about his review on 1UP FM this week. Although his review isn't up yet, he says he gave it a B (or close to that), and that he ranks it above Silent Hill 4, but below Silent Hill 2 (Which he says is his favourite in the series, and that he is a fan of the series).
I wouldn't trust Game Informer as a reliable source of info. as they are owned and run by Gamestop and obviously, giving big games bad reviews would = bad sales and less money for Gamestop. Just something to consider.
IGN takes bribes and the reviewers have a rod up their ass. "Hey RE5 was just released, lets have a soccer mom review it!" I mostly trust Destructoid and Kotaku.
Selective trusting is rather silly, seeing how every review outlet gets the same "bribes". Destructoid in particular is magnet for nimrods, and Kotaku isn't much better nowadays. Exception goes to Maggie, Leigh, and Owen on the weekends on Kotaku.
Well Gamestop tells me it ships today and they will sell it tomorrow and Wal-Mart doesn't even have a clue as to what "Silent Hill: Homecoming" even is

Kotaku is a fun site to troll, but a game news site meant to be taken seriously? Nah.
