its the room with the boxes, i think the Store Room, it should write it on your map, i got lost here also, but backtracking never fails lol

Okay, I found the flashlight. Now I'm upstairs. I found the key inside of the cooked dog...and I'm stuck again.
Are all Silent Hill games this complicated?

Yeah, they're all like this. They usually take a day or two to make it all the way through if you're half way decent. Of course, Silent Hill 2 has the option to essentially turn both combat and puzzles off completely, or make them even harder. I liked harder.

my god woman, don't take offense but it's not the game's fault, you are just incredibly slow to pick up simple things .. it took you THIS long to find the flash light item even after several posts explaining it's exact locations and even some pictures ..

I'm really bad at Silent Hill games, too. Just rely on your map constantly, make sure you have gone to every room you can and make sure you explore them completely. Sometimes you're going to have to backtrack to rooms again if you find yourself stuck, it's a little frustrating with the size of the areas but you'll get the hang of it.

here's an easy tip, wen u check doors that are locked by have a key, it just writes "It's Locked" and doesn't have a squigly on the door, just a straight line on the map

You have the best part left, in my opinion. I think the first half is pretty slow and boring. The game picks up when you meet Vincent, and from there and on I think it's very good!
