Hehe- that drill sequence is pretty vicious. Though it saddens me to see Silent Hill go down the gore fest route when the earlier games relied so much on the unseen and in suggestion.Last edited by [STARS]TyranT; 05-20-2009, 07:15 PM.http://www.projectumbrella.net The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

The gore fest doesn't bother me, it's the way it was done that does.
Spoiler:
This whole underground place was so out of place and completely lacked atmosphere. If Double Helix really wanted the Order to be a bunch of people who want to punish those who opposed them, they should rather done it the way Alex's mother was killed. Weird deadly torture machinery would be so much better than Margaret drilling into Alex's leg or Curtis playing with his circular chainsaw.

Silent Hill Homecoming = Silent Hill Movie + Hostel.
Spoiler:
It's a shame they censored the drill scene, I was shocked the first time I saw it, but the censoring just took all the power of it... I mean, Silent Hill is suppossed to be a "cruel" game... Shame they got this "butchered" (no pun intended) version.

It's weird not seeing the body there in the Church and after a key scene. I thought they would of kept the body but took away all the blood etc, but I guess that would be silly, so they've done away with the whole thing.
Glad that the UK got the uncensored version because it really added to the game I think.
