I see, that must mean he took my advice!
This is a man who needs to swap his brain with the original writer of the first Silent Hill game!

One could say the exact same about Resident Evil, yes?

Haven't they learned anything from Capcom's mistakes? Bad, bad, bad MOVE!

Depends. It's already been a light gun game (bad) and a visual novel (not bad, but hard to read when you don't do Japanese) so I suppose they could do something interesting with it...puzzle based survival horror kinda like Clock Tower? Solve the puzzle or Pyramid Head humps you to death?

Now, having a survival horror series with a multiplayer run-and-gun over the shoulder frag fest? That would be crazy talk.

Yeah, that sure didn't work out well for Capcom... did it now?

From what I played of Downpour I'd rather they went the RE5 route. I'm looking forward to Book of Memories more than Downpour, from a gameplay perspective anyway. BoM may not be survival horror but it looks fun, the Downpour demo I played wasn't. Shame BoM Vita only.

Downpour looks iffy, and the preview/reviews haven't been too friendly so far. You think he's leaving ship before the ensuing shit storm when the game is released?
