  • Yeah it is shitty and overrated bullcrap. Try watching Zombie Holocaust (made around the same time I believe) its a much better flick, gore is much better too.

    • I'll have to see if I can find it at FYE or something because there is no more blockbusters around here any more

Cannibal Holocaust: Put this one off for a long time and I'm glad I did as it completely sucks ass. I thought the animal deaths were something of a bit part, but whenever they occured they had this dramatic music playing over them - I did not get that at all.. The director was trying to emphasise the deaths of the animals? I could understand killing them for food, happens everyday all over the world, but putting that shitty dramatic music over it lost me completely. Why kill them in the first place if its so dramatic for you lol?

Leviathan: Can't believe I never saw this until this year.. Resident Evil 2 anyone?

Also, of course the latest Mad Men, Dexter and Fringe.. great TV shows. They're all getting pretty damn good recently.
The animal deaths may be bigger if you know that the animal deaths were in fact, REAL. They actually killed those animals on-set.

The movie is no masterpiece, just letting you know that that's probably the reason. xD That's Exploitation for you, ha...

But did Scream know? Just explaining is all.

Yeah, very tasteless, but it didn't bother me so much that I couldn't finish...I dunno, after seeing bits of Caligula, I doubt there's much that could phase me. xD Exploitation films are...well they're something.

            • Yeah, almost everyone knows they are real before watching the movie. My point was that I wasn't bothered by it but they played that dramatic music over it as if to try and make people become bothered by it. So yeah its exploitation alright..

                • Sooo...I just got back from seeing Paranormal Activity 2 (they showed it at 10pm thank god because all the theaters here were sold out at 12) and I gotta say that its 100000000X better than the first. I fucking hated the first one. I went with a few friends and one of them has NEVER seen a horror movie before so needless to say he was scared as hell.

                  Spoiler:

Sorry if thats confusing its 1:05am and I'm tired.

All in all I think its a fucking million times better than the first one. 7/10.

Excellent performances by Eisenberg and Garfield and one of the finest screenplays of the year thanks to Aaron Sorkin.

I fucking got bored to death with the first one. Not a single scene was scary. Didn't get what the fuzz was about either. So, I'll skip this one since there were also a lot of ppl that claimed the 1st was good and shit (better than the Exorcist some said... pffft!). Anywhoo, this sequel sounds like they're trying to add some 'action' to secure the making of a franchise. Not interested.

Saw 'UP' for the first time... Good film.
