  • I just watched The Departed again and it's just so fucking awesome! even thoguh i knew what was gonna happen at the end it still gets me every time. It's just so epicly awesome that movie, i would give it 10/10.

it's one of my favourite movies ever, but watching it again last night made me realise how much i hate Matt Damons character in it, Spoiler:

        • I finally saw Star Trek last night and say it was a great movie and don't have anything bad to say about it. In fact its the best movie I have seen of this year. I never watched the show but watched all of the movies and this one is probably the best Star Trek movie I have seen.

          • Finally got around to seeing Kill Bill 1 and 2. Even though I don't like gory movies, and I knew what I was getting myself into, I actually really enjoyed them. The gore was over-done, and that's what made it so non-squeamish and unoffensive. Kill Bill 1 is definitely on my list of favourite movies ever.

I'm doing a podcast on Quentin Tarantino for a school assignment, so I'm gonna try and watch all his movies. My checklist:

Reservoir Dogs - Watched, will watch again
Pulp Fiction - Watched, will watch again
            Jackie Brown - Watched
Kill Bill: Volume 1 - Watched
Kill Bill: Volume 2 - Watched
Sin City - Need to watch
Death Proof - Watched, will watch again
Inglorious Basterds - Need to watch

Hopefully Inglorious Basterds will see an early-ish release in Australia.

            • I just saw a film called Blindness, which is an adaptation of a novel (Written in Portugese) and directed by Fernando Meirelles who was responsible for City of God. It's about an epicdemic of Blindness that eventually takes over the majority of the world, but one woman (Julianne Moore) is somehow immune and still has her sight and acts as an almost shepherd like chraracter to a group of blind people that she has befriended in quarrantine. The first two thirds of the movie are so very bleak but the final third (Post quarrantine) feels a lot more hopeful.

Yeah, that scared the crap out of me simply because it wasn't a monster.

I watched Ghostbusters yesterday, a classic film. If I ever see something the even resembles a remake, heads will roll.

                          • night of the living dead (1968), great movie, really bad acting, except the afroamerican guy, he was ok. Now I'm watching Dawn of the dead (1978), I LOVED the 2004 one, I think I'll like the original too, AND, I really liked Dead Rising (game), so I'll enjoy seeing the similarities
